I love every aspect of it. I love the positive life impact it makes on peoples' lives, what it represents, the hard working clients, and the creativity of an innovative fitness program. Growing up in Brazil, I became interested in fitness at a young age and went on to study physical education before moving to the United States in the early 2000s.
I now have over 11 years experience working as a fitness professional. Many of those years I spent managing personal training programs at large health clubs like Equinox, and worked with some of the best personal trainers in the business. In 2011, I went on to launch my own personal training venture: Leo Results Fitness.

I have been working out with Leo weekly for 5 years now and can’t say enough good things about him. Not only has he been a huge contribution to my 30+ pound weight loss, he has been my #1 cheerleader. Besides training, he is always there for me via text when I have questions, and to hold me accountable to my goals on the days I don’t see him. Wether I’m with him in person or working out with him virtually, he’s always challenging me and pushing me to be better physically and mentally. I am so happy I found him!!!

Leo is an incredible personal trainer! At our first session Leo asked me about my goals, and I told him very simply that I want to get stronger. Leo has helped me become the strongest I have ever been and in a short period of time. Each session is unique and yet always focused on my fitness goals. I truly appreciate Leo's attention to detail and technique coupled with his ability to motivate me to go beyond – “Let’s do 5 more because you can!” Working with Leo has been fantastic and I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Found Leo after a surgery under my right shoulder and wanted to get back to my fitness routine after 8 months of not doing anything. Leo takes time to understand my situation and tailors the workouts accordingly. He makes sure to give different muscle groups equal attention which shows his experience given each session is only for 30 min. He pushes you while being mindful of any constraints. Highly recommend.

In just 3 months of training with Leo I have seen significant changes in my body, to my great surprise. Every session has been something new. Leo knows how to mix things up and challenge my body. His exercise combinations have helped me get stronger and feel fitter. It’s been amazing that in a 30 minute session I feel like we accomplish more than what I used to do on my own and in group classes. He made the effort to understand my needs and injuries, and to work on strengthening those areas.

I already have a regular workout routine through a combination of classes from Classpass and FitReserve, doing HIIT, yoga, pilates, and barre. I worked with Leo to focus on strength training through weight lifting. I liked that most of the workouts were low-impact, varied, and challenging. I was impressed by how Leo designed each individual session to work a variety of muscle groups, and were so efficient that my 30 minutes with him felt as tough as hour classes. I also definitely appreciated that he was very attuned to proper form, which I don't always get from boutique fitness studio classes

I worked with Leo for over two years in NYC. And I can honestly say that it was life changing in the confidence that it gave me. That's partly from the clear physical results of training regularly with Leo (he's technically very good). But it's also a product of Leo's 'can do' motivation which spilled-over for me to other road blocks in my life.
Leo is particularly good at engaging with people who might normally feel slightly intimated or alienated by the atmosphere in some gyms.

Leo is just the man. He told me he works 70-80 a week in the gym and I know why. Everyone who works out with him is addicted to his charismatic zeal and outlook on fitness and life. My girlfriend and I both did five sessions with him and we left every session exhausted and sore but extremely accomplished. I almost never did the same exercise twice, and he knew exactly how much to push to ensure I got the most out of a workout. Thanks so much Leo.

I came to Leo by way of Groupon, and I couldn't be happier. Those first 5 sessions were incredible, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Leo and to be working with him as my trainer. He's absolutely terrific, and I've been extremely impressed with every part of his training. I've been intimidated by weightlifting and free weights for most of my life. I knew that I needed to be lifting weights in order to get real lasting results, but I was desperately afraid of embarrassing myself. Well, not anymore. Leo has given me hope that I can get fit by training with him

I very rarely write reviews, but when someone's the best, you can't deny it, and Leo's the best! I started training with Leo this summer and it's been the best decision I've made in a long time. I tried working out by myself and I just wasn't motivated enough to get to the gym, but Leo holds me accountable for showing up and getting my workout done. He listened to what I wanted to achieve in our first session and has tailored our subsequent sessions to fit my needs and my body.

I normally don't write reviews but credit must be given! Some background: I wanted a trainer because even though I'm a bit petite, I had no body strength whatsoever. Therefore, my goal was strength building and toning. I've now been training with Leo for about 3 or 4 months now and I can feel my body has gotten stronger. He is flexible, effective and understanding and he is more than accommodating to any injuries or discomfort you feel which was why I opted to train with him after my first session. He'll work with you on the areas that bother you most and will be real with you

Leo is an amazing trainer! He makes you feel super comfortable at every session, while also giving you a tremendous workout that is tailored to your body type. He is also my part time diet police/nutritionist considering he is constantly making sure I'm eating healthy. In the one year I've been working with Leo, he has completely reshaped by body for the better.

I moved out to Coney island in May 2015 and my schedule was going to conflict with Leo . This what's make Leo an excellent trainer and person . Even though I do not train with him anymore ,. So I was doing ropes and medicine balls and some core exercise my new trainer said to me you have excellent form , your old trainer did an excellent job . LEO EMPHASIS AND MAKES SURE THE EXERCISE IS DONE CORRECTLY . When I started with I could not finished and half hour session today I have no problem doing an 1.5 hours . Leo is fantastic!!! He personalized my workouts and always makes sure to maximize our time. I originally brought a groupon and was a bit apprehensive but Leo always puts me at ease. And as a result I've decided to continue working out with him.
He listens and I observed and focuses on your problem areas with each session. He also connects on a more personal level which makes you always want to do your best. He doesn't yell but definitely pushes you to get max result.

I had a personal trainer for about 4 months before I came to Leo. He's like a breath of fresh air! No two workouts are ever the same and he keeps it fun; always pushing me to do my best. He's professional and very knowledgeable about diet and the best way to get the results you want. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone out there looking for a trainer- he's pretty great!

I have been training with Leo for almost a year, and having worked with many other trainers, I must say how glad I am that I found him. My first session he meticulously gauged my fitness level when performing various exercises, and he was extremely attentive to my goals in the gym. Afterwards he customized my workouts depending on those goals for the time of year (Spring/Summer-weight loss and toning. Fall/Winter- Mass and strength).
