In 1987 the fitness world had already been set ablaze. Weight rooms and group fitness classes were packed alike with eager fitness participants. People excited to get pumped, lose weight and feel great. I was an enthused 19 year old and started out as a "fitness instructor", then soon an"aerobics instructor" and finally the first personal trainer in my city.

Back then, personal training was something that was only read about for the celebrity world. I enjoyed that personalized detail you could bring to the client. It was not just a one-time tutorial on fitness equipment as it had been in the past. Now, I could train the client and on a regular basis and see the results and program evolve.

Virtual Training uses an advanced smartphone app. It is just like live training only done remotely with the use of some awesome technology! The app shows your weekly routines, video instructions, reminders from a real person to get going, nutritional accountability and so much more! It starts with weekly phone calls :30 thirty minutes on your schedule.

Chris is the BEST! His workouts are customized to fit exactly what you want to accomplish and he's with you every step of the way! Everyone's goals are different but he helped me get back on a regular fitness schedule to tone up and the results were exactly what I was hoping for! He works with me and my family and has become a good friend and such positive influence for us! Thanks Chris!!!!!

I had a neck injury and was still in PT when I started working with Chris to get back into a fitness routine. I'm so glad that I found him! Not only did he understand my condition, he also knew how to gradually get me to the level of fitness I wanted.

I have to admit that it took time and patience and Chris was able to get me through it every step of the way. I've been pain free for a while now and Chris has helped me move beyond my injury to a point where I can just focus on my fitness goals.

I highly recommend Chris for not just getting physically fit, but also if you have experienced

There are SEVERAL great things about working with Chris! First, he doesn't position himself as offering the latest and greatest gimmicky workout program. Along with that, he doesn't make empty promises to entice you to work with him. He makes it very clear from the beginning that you must be an active role in your health aside from the little bit of time in the studio working out with him. I have worked on my fitness on & off with Chris Akard for 17 years. I'm not gonna lie... I've tried a few other places, but the results I get with Chris are by far superior to any other fitness regimen I have tried, and I've tried many. Whether your fitness goal is a bangin body or just to be healthy and fit, they personalize to every body type and lifestyle. If you are interested in really making a difference in your fitness and health, I couldn't recommend a better place.
