Here at the office, it's no secret that 2020 has been full of spooky events, but it's time for something fun: our annual pumpkin contest! Each staff member has decorated a pumpkin and is vying for your votes for the chance to win an awesome prize, as well as bragging rights until 2021. All of our patients are encouraged to vote, but please only one vote per person.
After graduating form the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Herrera trained for an additional year in a general practice residency (GPR) at Michael Reese hospital in Chicago, Illinois. This GPR provided post-graduate training with patients who had complex dental and medical needs.

First off, the building Dr. Herrera's office is in is beautiful and so relaxing! As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the lovely front desk staff and walk into an immaculately clean waiting room. I got there early and they were able to take me to the room quite fast. I was greeted by Ruth, who was super thorough, informative and sweet! :) Dr. Herrera was also great! I love the new technology they have and how they took both X-rays and photos for my chart. I'll be going back in sept for my cleaning, overall great experience, good location and parking was available! Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience in every respect, staff is extremely professional , accommodating and patient. I recently confused my appt time and they were very nice about it, fit me right in when it was clearly my error. They have an advanced digital 3D X-Ray system in house and their hygienists are also fast, efficient and thorough.
Used to dread going to the dentist as I suffer from chronic neck pain due to a cervical fusion before working with Dr Herrera. But not anymore, their chairs are very comfortable and all the staff is experienced with patients with neck issues, does their best to expedite things as they can.. Thank you Dr. Herrera !

Doctor Herrera is very professional and completes treatments with great attention to the smallest detail.
In my case, Doctor Herrera's full explanations of treatment options and detailed answers to my questions helped building trust and confidence with doctor Herrera's recommendations.
I'd also note that both doctor to patient communication and office experience are promoting psychological comfort and the least stress possible - from friendliness of the team and great equipment / facilities to calming nature tv shows in the rooms and efficient covid protocols.

My wife and I began seeing Dr. Herrera in 2006. Since then the shop has grown, but the quality has never suffered. Never have I ever had a bad experience and the entire staff sets the bar high for excellent customer service. I even moved to another city but continue to travel to Los Gatos every time I need a dentist because I feel so comfortable with their abilities and quality of service. If you ever dread going to the dentist then this is the place for you! I look forward to every appointment where I can have my teeth cleaned in such a peaceful atmosphere; I even doze off from time to time because

My first time at the dentist in awhile and I was apprehensive. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and it only got better from there. Everyone was so nice and kind, I was impressed by the staff and office. Once I meet Dr. Herrera I felt so comfortable and was extremely pleased how thorough she was with my exam and explained everything to me. I was referred to her by one of my client who raved of how great she was and I too agree.

There are multiple reasons why Dr Herrera's team continues to impress and that is likely the best of all reasons. Every interaction breaks the dentist stereotype to the point of me enjoying my checkups. If you have an issue they look for the best option but they give you options so you can make the best decision for yourself. Having people in your mouth shouldn't be as comfortable as they make it. I'm relieved to have them caring for me and my family.

I am not a big fan at all of going to a dentist. However, I give 5 stars to Cristina Herrera, DDS and her amazing team! There is not one thing I can see as a negative. Seriously! I’ve even had a root canal performed by Cristina Herrera and I’m 100% happy with it. I’ve been going to her dentist office for years now and I can say now I look forward to going because I know I’m in great care.

This is THE BEST dental experience you can get in the South Bay! Dr. Herrera is so good at her craft, I would trust her with eye teeth! The office is super clean and state of the art, it’s like going to a spa, no kidding. And all of the hygienists are so gentle. I’m a 200lb baby and I’ve never felt any pain! I actually look forward to coming here!
