I will start by saying I ordered Door Dash, so I didn't receive direct customer service..
I used to go out a lot until Covid forced us to stay in..I have grown accustomed to using Door Dash.
I feel like and this is just my personal opinion..
I feel like because we are not at the restaurant the quality of food is different than what it would be if I came in to eat..
I think that is not cool..
When I order Door Dash I often pay more, as prices are often higher.. The real point is the restaurant doesn't have to clean after us..Seems they'd love the Door Dash customers just as

I stopped for lunch to go. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, fries and a coke in a can. The total was $21 and change. I thought that was too expensive but had high hopes for a great lunch. I was wrong... the bun was a Costco cheepo sesame seed bun non toasted and dry. There was a minimal amount of pork and loaded with a very strong flavored coleslaw. Coleslaw was all I could taste. Then a small handful of ok fries with no salt or seasoning. Overall I left hungry and had a small, expensive lunch. Underwhelmed. I won't repeat.

The staff is outstanding. The decor is fun. We sat outside and I forgot to look for the train that circles the dining room.
Very family friendly, from the menu of American classics to the lively spaces. Our server was kind, easygoing and quick to accommodate our various requests.
Everyone was happy, smiling, friendly. There appears to be quite a loyal client base.
Overall, we left happy and well fed.

Wish I could say this place is just like the old Hof Brau Roast Haus in Terra Linda but it doesn't come very close. The turkey tastes very gamey and unseasoned. I should have asked for gravy on the side because it was drenched in too much wet gravy all over. Didn't come with stuffing. Mashed potatoes were ok. You get a decent portion of meat but yeah I did not enjoy it at all to be honest. Reminded me of old age home cafeteria food, airplane food, or microwave TV dinners. They don't carve the turkey in front of you so I have no idea if it's fresh or what.

Ok, so normally I'll do a review of the food I ordered and either give it a good or bad review. But this time was different. I tried to come in for a no big deal breakfast. The entrance door read "MASK REQUIRED", which I did have on and it was properly covering my face. When I came in covered and sat at the counter area, it was either the owner or an employee who asked me what I want to drink. I ordered a coffee from him and he went to get it. When he came back and poured my coffee, he randomly ask me if I was a Democrat. I told him to excuse me and if he can say that again. He then

My wife & I have been coming here more recently for breakfast. The corned beef hash is AWESOME! You can definitely tell everything is made from scratch. Great breakfast spot with very reasonable prices.
We've been here for lunch a couple times and the sandwiches we've had were good, classic, American diner food which one would expect.

I ate at Sam's Place yesterday and let me tell you I had the best patty melt I have ever had! It came with the best Cole slaw that I have had in a long time!
Excellent food and my friend said the same thing, he ordered the French dip and said the roast beef was fantastic we really loved the food! Gotta go check it out!

What started as a place for us to wait out rush-hour traffic and feed our kids (loved seeing "family friendly"), was a very nice evening! When I first saw the prices, I was thinking "oh no, this price for deli food?!" but we sat out on the patio that was a very pleasant evening. We were able to chat with Sam (owner) & his wife and our kids LOVED the train running around the restaurant. My husband's Black Russian sandwich was DELICIOUS. They said they were known for Fish & Chips, which I ordered, and was fine but not to rave about. Kids meals were reasonably priced for the quantity, but we enjoyed

Let me give you this review short and simple. If you want to go to a great restaurant, reminds me a lot of the old TV series cheers where everyone knows your name, the price is right and the food is excellent. I just can't say enough about the owner Sam and his wife and the service people working there.

I'm really liking hanging out on their really nice patio. The tables are distanced and I feel really safe. They even have a water fountain for a relaxing vibe. Their food is all old school diner style and priced the same. It's always really good and tasty. I usually come for breakfast and a occasional lunch. If you haven't tried it, you might wanna check it out. The staff are also always efficient and helpful.

We've been visiting this location pretty much since it was a First Interstate Bank, then the Hofbrau and now Sams. Sam and his crew have been doing an incredible job with the small outdoor space they have right off Center, and the service is impeccable as well.
We've been there three or four times since Covid, and every time we come to find a clean table, masked servers, and great food.
IF you want to place to eat out - and who doesn't, we're all going stir-crazy - come to Sam's!

Queen Shelley hooked it up for me for a tasty breakfast sandwich where I requested a chicken fried steak patty in it instead of bacon. Tasty indeed. Now I could tell it's probably a pre-made frozen patty, but that's okay. Patty was hot & crispy, cheese was melty, and eggs fried were all good inside my toasty sliced sourdough. Coffee just keeps coming.
By the way...I love hearing Shelley's laugh when she talks with customers, it's pretty infectious and it puts a smile on my face too. Thanks for being a queen up in this place!

Unassuming outside, drove by for decades. Wanted to try a new place.
Inside is clean, charming even.
Gas fireplace, music on weekend mornings, large private room and outside seating.
Shelley and staff were friendly and then in walked our neighbors who have come here for years.
Corned beef hash was awesome.

I was a "never" going back there type of person a while back.
A friend invited me to lunch back in February and we went to Sam's, it was fantastic!!! I've been back a few times in the past two months for breakfast as well as once for lunch, great service, the food is good, and hot!!
I am so glad to see the improvements from when I last reviewed Sam's Place.
They have good chicken fried steak too!!
The servers are always happily greeting customers, and seem to have a very good relationship with the regulars.
