Honest and fair. They gave me a time frame for repair and beat it. Also, they sent me a list via text of what was important to fix ASAP and what I could wait on. Fully transparent. Price is reasonable. Basically, my car had a seized axle and needed general maintenance. The axle issued was clearly explained to me. They ordered the part, did some of the other general maintenance, and the cars back and running great.

Brought my vehicle in because I was having an issue with the brakes. Mercer quickly identified the problem and quoted $1150 to fix the issue. I called four other local options whose quotes for the same quality of parts and time frame of work was the same and those quotes ranged from $642 to $835. If you have the option to go elsewhere you can save a few hundred dollars. If you don’t they are quality and get away with charging astronomical prices because they are located in a resort community.

The honesty, integrity, kindness and customer service provided by Justin was extraordinary!!!
We traveled up the mountain and noticed the brakes were burning when we came down.
We are from Las Vegas, and did not know of any mechanic in town.
We called Mercer Automotive and spoke to Justin at 4:30 PM on Thursday. We explained the issue and Justin said to come right over.
After doing a spot check, he asked us to come back the following morning so he could do a complete full visual of the brakes on the lift.
By 10:30 AM he informed us we did not need new brakes and in fact we still had about

I have had several cars in my life time. This is a simple Ford bronco : v8 - they lied about being specialists they lied about their abilities. Richard Mercer has hired 3 attorneys to defend himself. Instead of simply speaking with me to remedy the issue. I moved to park City and if you live here you know their reputation; NO local residents deal with Mercer.

Great for emergency service. We were visiting from Iowa, and had brake issues the night before we were to head home. They were able to change our brakes out the same day, right before we left. Highly recommend them. Great service and very accomodating.

Had a dead battery after returning from vacation. Called Mercer to confirm they had a replacement. Very cordial conversation. Recommended to come to the shop in the afternoon. Arrived and got immediate attention. They pulled the vehicle into a bay and assigned the work within 10 minutes. Completed work and tested in another 15 minutes. Excellent knowledge and interaction. Would definitely return for other service.

We were on a 3500 mile road trip from Austin with a stay over in Park City. We got a “check brake wear” alert on our Mercedes SUV. The local Mercedes dealerships were very unhelpful and would not help us on an emergency basis; very disappointing.
We contacted Mercer Automotive and spoke to Chris who was very understanding of our situation. They were able to obtain the parts and get the brakes repaired the same day. They even kept the shop open late to ensure we got our vehicle back ASAP. Thanks to Chris and the Team!

We were in the middle of a 1,500 mile trip when my truck's check engine light came on. We were worried that the issue could have severe consequences as to finishing our trip as we would be traveling off-road and in some desolate places. I took the truck to Mercer right when they opened; while the place was very busy, Ken immediately put the other issues aside and hooked the truck up to his diagnostic equipment. This place is the worst! We took it there to get an estimate on what was wrong with car. When we called they said the estimate was free. They quoted me over $800 for repairs and when I compared to three places in SLC I was told around $350. When we called Mercer to say we would take it another place because it was too expensive, we were told- "sorry this is Park City that's how it is!" It was actually perfect that a mechanic in PC actually said that because it's true! Let's rip off the people because we can!! When picking up the car our "free estimate" cost

Mercer Automotive is the most honest and professional auto shop I've ever worked with. I brought in my FJ Cruiser with the check engine light lit. The computer diagnostics revealed a problem that could have resulted in a $1,700+ repair. Mercer thoroughly tested the engine and found that the repair wasn't needed. They could have gone through with the repair, and I wouldn't have known any better, but they didn't. I deeply appreciate their honesty and wholeheartedly recommend Mercer to anyone in the Park City area.

Brought in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo which displays tire pressure on dash. Unfortunately, Mercer Automotive is now under daily management of the next generation mr bigshot Jackson "attitude" Mercer who knows nothing about customer service side of the business. Young 30? Year old Jackson Mercer bragged that he was in charge now and complaints to anyone higher up would result in him picking up the phone. He actively argued with me about whether they over inflated all 4 tires to 80 psi, extremely dangerous given the pressure was about 40 psi on display readout when car was brought in and max
