A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

From the front desk to Natalie, my hygienist, to Dr. De La Garza very polite and helpful; top flight. Office is very clean and your health is priority one. We took my mother in law of 85 years today. Chipped tooth. Didn’t numb her or any pain meds. Built tooth back up. No pain at all. She enjoyed the entire visit. She has more treatment to be done and is looking forward to coming back. This staff is absolutely more than wonderful!! Kathryn, thank you so very much for everything. What a delightful dedicated employee.

I have been coming to Dr. De La Garza’s clinic for a few years now and I can’t stress enough how well his clinic is run. The front of house staff, Kathy and Sandra have the upmost respect and courtesy for patients. The dental hygienists all have one thing in mind, professionalism. My dental health is important to me, but having found an honest skillful and hardworking dental physician, I no longer have to worry about my dental health, it’s as though I’ve now how one less thing to worry about! I met Dr D-L-G when the Army Reserve set me up for yearly mandatory dental check ups in 2013, and I enjoyed how he and his staff took care of me. In 2014 or 2015, I made the change to move my wife, son Fabian, and myself to become part of his dental family as patients. I never looked back. Best move ever. Thanks Dr David De La Garza!
