My family trusted this vet completely, and did whatever he told us to do to take care of our dog. When we moved and had to switch vets, the new vet was shocked at the condition of my dog's teeth. We found out that during the six years we had the dog, not only had this vet never checked my dog's teeth, but he never even recommended a deep cleaning. I brush my dog's teeth daily, but always assumed the vet would tell me if he needed a deeper cleaning. Turns out, my poor dog needed three extractions in addition to a deep cleaning. Most compassionate veterinarian there is. Dr. Oxley is the very best there is. He went out of his way to try to save my dog's life even when it was not possible with incurable cancer and we all knew it, and he shed tears with us when we had to let him go. He's so gentle and sweet with my other dog as well. He doesn't overcharge on purpose. He truly loves animals. He's a great guy and it's a great place.
