Services
We're pleased to offer a variety of services to keep your pets healthy and happy throughout their life! Parkview Animal Hospital is unique in that there is no need to book an appointment. We operate as a walk-in clinic, which allows flexibility and convenience for you and your furry family. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Your feedback allows us to provide the best care possible for your furry family members! Dr. Ehlers is the best vet in Lincoln. She has worked methodically and tirelessly to ensure our two dogs have the happiest and healthiest existence. I have been in several clinics in Lincoln and choose to drive 30 miles one way every time we need to take the dogs in.
Here you'll find online forms for everything related to our clinic as well as important information, such as what to expect on your visit. While we open at 7:30am Monday - Friday, we do not have a doctor on premises until 8am. Our doors open at 7:30am to accept surgery drop-offs, technician appointments, pharmacy pickups, etc.
When you donate to our AVMF fund, it helps us provide excellent veterinary care to pets whose families are in need of financial assistance. A contribution from you, no matter the amount, will make a big difference in the life of a sick, injured or abused animal. Donations to the Veterinary Care Charitable Fund support the charitable work done by veterinarians on behalf of pets and their loving owners.

Dr Ehlers and the staff are top notch. I would not take my animals to any other vet. I have 6 dogs and she has treated them with great compassion. Dr. Ehlers has been our animal Dr. Since 2014. Dr. Ehlers did surgery on our Charlie brown after he swallowed piece of rubber ball.
Highly Recommend parkview animal hospital.

I had to put my cat down...and the week or so leading up to it I was out of town and my husband had to handle everything. They were so patient and worked with me despite it.
When the time came the doctor that had been working with my cat was suppose to be off that day. I don't know if they called her and told her I was there or if she had picked up a shift but it meant a lot that she was there.
You want a good vet clinic/hospital. I strongly recommend them. I've started taking my other pets there and it's been worth it.

Extraordinarily competent and caring people. Dr. Ehlers is very dedicated, intelligent, excellent veterinarian. She provides first class care, while keeping the owner (being me) involved in the process, and allowing me to make informed decisions based not only effectiveness, but also cost. In talking with her I learned her experience ranges from caring from a lion's teeth to a new born kitten; from horses to cattle. She is extraordinarily well versed. Her care of small animals is as good as I have experienced. The rest of the entire team were professional and compassionate. Just an overall

We were traveling through Nebraska when our pup developed an eye infection. Park view was able to take us as walk in, saw us in a reasonable time, were caring and professional. And best of all prescribed eye drops that took care of the infection! I highly recommend Parkview!

We were traveling through Nebraska. Our pup developed an eye infection. Parkview takes walk in patients. We waited only about 20 minutes, we were seen by a very compassionate team and doctor that took care of our pup so we could continue our trip. I highly recommend this Vet clinic!

10/10 would recommend Parkview to everyone! One of my pups is scared of the vet (past vet experience from a different town was not good) they do an amazing job to make Remi feel safe and loved! Vern had two… emergencies in a three week gap. The Docs were great getting him right into emergency surgery after a run in with my car. Three weeks later, at almost closing, he decided to have a match with a bumblebee and lost. I drive 30 minutes across town to continue to go to them. Worth it every time!

Me and my husband used Parkview several years ago, and moved across town. We tried a few other vets closer to us, and ended up right back where we started. All the staff is great, and Dr Rief has been amazing with our giants. It's worth the 30 minute drive knowing my furbabies are well taken care of!!

Parkview has been such a blessing to my fur babies. After coming from another vet clinic that had treated my puppy like trash, I was worried the next clinic would be as negligent. From the first conversation with Parkview I knew they would take good care of my babies! Today they were able to remove my (very wiggly) puppy’s stitches on her nose out in less than 5 minutes. The dogs come out super happy each time we leave and the staff is SO friendly and thorough. Thank you Parkview!!!!

Unfortunately I have to demote my review of Parkview, but would first like to say that Dr. Ehlers is fantastic, and all of the techs have been great every time I've been in the past couple of years. If I was rating them, the review is a five. She takes the time to explain my animals conditions to me and you can tell she truly cares what is best for them.

However, Parkview has two doctors and Dr. Stizman is unacceptable in my opinion. We had okay experiences with him prior to the one that tipped me off, but one time he did attempt to think my dog needed to go on a regimen of allergy shots

We took a friends dog in because he was very ill. When we arrived, the vet was not polite at all, he didn't even really speak to us or the dog who was coughing and wheezing horribly. He examined the dog for several minutes, then looked at the dogs tags to verify his shots, when he did, he said "this is interesting" and left the room taking the collar and tags with him. He returned 10 minutes later and stated the owner of the dog had an outstanding bill that had been sent to collections. He then stated he would not treat the dog. We asked how much the outstanding bill was, and he advised us it was

I love Parkview Animal Hospital. The veterinarians are awesome! When our dog had a very rare disorder of the pancreas and we could not figure out what was going on with her, the veterinarians spent a lot of time researching and contacting vet hospitals, etc., to find out a proper diagnosis of her pancreatic enzyme insufficiency disease. They saved her life, of which we are eternally grateful.
When our dog did pass away about 8 years later, the entire Parkview staff was so supportive, kind and caring. They made a difficult time much easier for our family.
Now that we have a new puppy, we didn
