Our whole story begins after realizing that there was a great need for folks to try something different from what they are used to. This motivated us to start Home Taste Asian Restaurant in Flower Mound, Texas. People have always craved something different and enticing, and perhaps would like to experience tastes from other cultures.

We ordered dinner for everyone in our family tonight. One order was completely wrong. The other two the chicken was so dried out it’s like eating jerky. Mine taste burnt or like it was cooked in really old oil/ over cooked. I had really high hopes for this place because I heard really good things but I will not be returning.

So I ordered the AVOCADO PORK FRIED RICE based on the taste bud tantalizing picture they have proudly displayed in their menu... The pictures are what I got! The entire dish has an overwhelmingly slimy, avocado bathed texture and taste to it! Extremely disappointed to say the least! Only giving two stars as a result of delicious gyoza and the wife and mother-in-law said their food (sesame chicken) was delish...

If you have never been here. It's a MUST! Phenomenal! I do not understand why there is no line out the door or 2 hour wait times. Believe me I am hell on restaurants and this place is that great!
I had Pad Tai and my friends had the mango curry and the red curry. I'm a weakling when it comes to heat and they had theirs level 10.
BUT THE FLAVOR! OMG! Really! Their sushi is good since we cannot get fresh fish. I enjoyed the Half and half and the California spicy.
Portions, as normal for Asian restaurants, are huge! Excellent beer and Sake.

Was looking forward to the place and really wanted to try their signature dish - Miquang (coconut noodle soup). Alas the place disappointed. Decor was ok - traditional. The dish was very bland. Spicy- hardly any taste of the curry or coconut. Even worse there were no vegetables in the soup. Basically noodle, broth, chewy chicken and half a boiled egg. Normally you would expect some vegetables such as carrots or bean sprouts in the dish. Chicken was chewy. Definitely not worth the 12 bucks plus tips. I won’t be back.

Good idea marred by bad service and sugar in food. Food was tasty but could have been better. I just can not get over how much sweet everything was. And too much tofu. Just a sliver of vegetables. Lastly the service. There were only two tables full in the restaurant. One about 12 people and one our group of 4. First she not put extra napkins because table had only two. Now when the finger food came and we asked for napkins she brought us paper napkins with a count of 3. With salad the fork came again 3. Food was late not fault of service but they came by 5 times to fill our glasses but not even
