Services
Our goal is to offer dog and cat owners the opportunity to provide low-cost preventative wellness care to their beloved pets. This unique veterinary clinic offers a variety of low-cost vaccine packages (which include complete physical exams), routine testing (fecals, heartworm, etc.) routine preventatives and in-depth client educations on overall pet wellness care.
Prevents Pet from Going Into Heat: In addition to giving off a scent which will attract males from miles around, many females also display undesirable behaviors such as loud and persistent crying and rubbing and rolling on the floor when in heat. Reduces Desire to Roam: When in heat, females experience an urge to escape to find a mate.
RCAC offers low cost spay/neuter services for pet owners who meet our Low-Income Eligibility Criteria. Current recipients of any of the following types public assistance programs: Temporary Assistance, Food Stamps, HEAP, Unemployment Benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, or SSDI (with a benefit card or letter outlining benefits).
To qualify recipient must be current retiree collecting social security or have an annual income of $40,000 or less as indicated on the 1040 form of your most recent tax return. All cats scheduled for surgery MUST arrive in a secure carrier. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of surgery (and the standard 25% rescheduling fee).
Night before surgery: All spay/neuter patients must have food withdrawn at midnight the night before surgery. Water is okay. Cats must be in a clean pet carrier (commercially manufactured for the purpose of transporting felines) with a secured door. We recommend that you cover it with a towel or sheet to keep the cat calm.

I brought my 9 month old GSD/Husky here for her spay. They asked me to arrive at 730, park in a spot, and follow the instructions to check in. When I got there, there were 7 other patients waiting. I thought, oh this is going to take a long time. I was pulling out of the parking lot after 15 minutes. Very fast and efficient! I received a call a couple hours later to let me know that my dog was done with surgery and did great. It was so nice to hear an update - definitely didn't expect it with their volume!
