Services
Masks will be available for free at the front desk. Come prepared in your climbing/work-out attire, if possible, to limit use of changing rooms. Youth 14 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) on a 1:1 ratio. Both must have individual waivers on file, which can be filled out ahead of time here.
Bouldering is a popular style of rock climbing that does not involve ropes or harnesses. The climbing walls are surrounded by a thick foam padding to help absorb the impact of a fall. Bouldering routes at Sequence range from 10 - 16 ft in height. We love bouldering because it is one of the most social and community-building forms of climbing.
For your first visit, you will watch our orientation video and let our team know if you have any questions about the facility. We will get you set up with shoes and chalk and whatever else you need! Day pass includes climbing, access to fitness room, and any yoga classes happening on day of purchase!
Family Memberships are available to be purchased at the front desk for romantic couples, siblings, and between parent and child for $119/month. Parking is available in our lot (where the large wall mural is located) and on the street. WARNING: do not park in gravel lot at the corner of Washington and 17th Street - you will be towed!

Phenomenal bouldering gym with incredibly kind staff and owners who care about the community. 13 year climber in town for a few days and they made me feel like I was in my home gym.
Add to that the awesome tension and system boards In the back and some really fun sets and a welcoming group of climbers and I can’t wait until I’m in town again. Absolutely worth a try.

Sequence has become my favorite gym in town. After climbing here for a solid couple of months now, I realized that there is something for everyone. Whether you're a complete beginner or an expert at climbing, they offer plenty of different styles at each grade. A section of the gym gets reset every week, which gives us more to work on while still projecting some old problems. They also have campus training, yoga, cardio and weight training area in the back.
Not only am I impressed with the climbing here, I also really appreciate how well they maintain the facility. Everything has its

Was a member for 1.5 years. Enjoyed it greatly. Staff & owner always friendly. Walls changed regularly. Lost interest on climbing & informed staff. They didn't try to pressure me to stay or put up any issues when I wanted to cancel. They just asked if everything was ok & if I felt safe. Great staff, would definitely recommend.

Sequence is the best place to climb in KC. I was hooked from Day 1 for the ambiance alone (exposed brick? high ceilings? clean design? calming color palette? check check check check), but ultimately I stayed for the climbing. The setting at Sequence is consistent and reliable. When you climb a Pink Dot route, you know how hard it's going to be. That consistency is important when you're trying to see improvement over time.
In addition to the bouldering area (which is ENORMOUS!), they have a workout room and a yoga studio. The workout room has high-quality Rogue equipment, so Sequence is a great

My favorite climbing gym in the city. They spared no expense when creating this place, and it truly shows. It is very clean, very large, and a great laid back atmosphere to climb in. This climbing gym is bouldering only, meaning no ropes, and the climbs are 15ft tall or less, but there is so much variety here that you should never get bored, and since they reset a different wall each week (this is a HUGE plus, not every gym does this) you will always find new problems to work on. There is a great range of difficulty, for the beginner all the way to 10+ year veterans to climb. For the advanced climbers

I don't go climbing very often so when I go, I check out new places that I haven't been before. My friend had been raving about Sequence so I checked it out. For a bouldering gym, it was pretty big! There were so many routes to climb, especially for beginners like me! I have heard that they switch routes pretty often which is nice for those who come frequently. I also loved how they had a separate workout room where they hold classes and an area off to the side to play board games. The only thing stopping me from coming back more frequently is the price. Its $17 for a day pass and comes

Love this place. Just started climbing recently but caught the bug and can't stop. This place is really big so there are so many options and I love that. Everyone is really friendly. They only have bouldering, no ropes or anything. But their weight gym is pretty big in the back. And they have WiFi and games so a great place to come chill, play, work, climb all in one! Lots of community events, which is fun too.

A really well laid out climbing gym. This place has everything. The route setting is really challenging and there is lots and lots of diversity in the huge space.
I really like the fact that they are looking for this to be a community space with good Wi-Fi, tables you can work at and sofas to chill out on.

Well appointed bouldering gym with great people. Happy to be a member there. After being a member for more than a month I am still very excited about climbing and progressing. The routes range from pretty easy to how is that even possible?! The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and work hard to make your experience great. The classes they order are excellent especially the bouldering and yoga classes.

This place is incredible! As a first time climber, it could not be a better place to start out. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The owners are always there helping out! It has such a cool, fun, chill vibe. It makes you wish every type of gym was like this! If you haven't checked this out before, you owe yourself to get a day pass, buy a lesson, or just go check it out. You won't regret it!

No idea what to rave the most about in this review because the business as a whole is AMAZING. The owners are oft present and the kindest individuals who always want to make sure things are going well/to help you if you're struggling up a particular wall. The walls themselves are prime, with different sections being changed every week for fun new puzzles. This is all before I even mention to weight room and yoga included almost every day of the week in a separate section of the building. A truly amazing location that is worth visiting and getting a membership at.
