At the core of our "patient-centered care" approach is the comprehensive exam and custom cleaning. Our comprehensive exam is a thorough evaluation of your oral health, and sets the foundation for future dental needs.
The exam consists of intra-oral photography, all digital x-rays of your teeth, muscle and joint evaluation, oral cancer screening, examination of the teeth and gums, a treatment plan formulation, and making sure we answer all questions that you have regarding your oral health.If there are no immediate concerns or barriers to care, we will then clean your teeth and give proper home care instruction so you may keep your smile at its best.

When repairing a small cavity, a filling may restore your tooth to shape and function. Following the decay removal, the tooth is cleaned, and a special bonding agent is placed to hold the tooth-colored filling. After the procedure, your tooth is restored to optimal dental health with tooth-colored fillings to restore esthetics as well.

Outstanding customer care in a friendly environment. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and considerate.
The dentist is awesome!! Very friendly and cautious about the patient being comfortable at all times! The technology is up to par which enabled me to have everything done in one visit, rather than two!

I was extremely satisfied with the care and treatment that I received at Shades Creek Dental. When I walk in the door I was warmly greeted by two very nice ladies at the front desk. The Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist, Twilla Jackson greeted me shortly after I arrived and escorted me to a room. She did the preliminary work and then Dr Macbeth arrived. He was very courteous and professional and made me feel relaxed and at ease. It was determined that I would need two tooth extractions and two bone grafts to prepare for implants. I moved to Alabama 4 years ago and have been to 3 different dentists. Third one is a charm! Shades Creek Dental has the latest technology, friendly front desk staff, knowledgeable dental hygienists, and a friendly, not judgemental doctor. I get anxiety at the dentists, but not here! The dental hygienist explained everything she was doing before she did it, carried on a great conversation, and did great patient education on my aftercare. If you are looking for a dentist, Dr. Macbeth and Staff are highly recommended.

I had my first appointment today at Shades Creek Dental and loved the place. Everyone was super friendly and were extremely professional. The facility is gorgeous and seems to have the latest, most modern equipment. The chairs are also stupidly comfortable. Dr MacBeth is affable, efficient and went out his way to make me feel at home. I couldn't have been happier.
