Amilly Alvarez-Washington founded OptaMiss in 2015 when it was decided to separate the Consulting & Project Management side of the business from the Materials and Product Testing performed by Florida TEC. OptaMiss is made up of several full-time Field Inspectors and Project Managers as well as Professional Engineers.
The integrity of specific building components in question are inspected prior to making repair or replacement recommendations. During Concrete Restoration projects walls are typically sounded, measured & marked. Not all projects are the same. Custom specifications are prepared to meet your specific needs.

This company is a disaster. The engineer showed up 1 hour late. He then proceeded to write a 1 page report with no details and very generic. I would NOT recommend this company at all. It is the worst experience I have ever had. I have tried several times to get my money back and they refuse to answer my phone call. Incredibly unprofessional.

I was on the Board of Fisher Island's Bayside Village Association when we decided to bring OptaMiss on Board to help oversee the roof replacement project. For starters, they did a thorough analysis of the roofing work done versus what had actually been contracted for. They put together a punch list report of the work items still pending and another detailing work had which had been billed to us but not completed. I have worked with Optamiss on two roof projects. The first was when my Condominium Association replaced our roof system. Amilly and her staff were very professional and pro-active. They provided our Manager and board members with detailed, easy to read documents. This made it easy for us, as a board to understand what our entire project entailed. From start to finish the entire re-roof ran smoothly.
Amilly and or her staff were onsite for all inspections as promised. They also now do an annual inspection of our roof system for us.

Optamiss worked on two major projects in the building I manage, a roofing project and a water proofing project. I can only say great things about Amilly and Optamiss. They were so professional and knowledgeable. They provided us professional advise and supervison. They looked out for us! At the end of the project Amilly provided is with a binder that included everything regarding our project, from copies of reports, warranties, photographs, etc. I would work with them again anytime!

You won’t be disappointed hiring the OptaMiss team. We had 10 roofs replaced at our community of condos, and they oversaw the project. They provide open lines of communication... informative reporting with clear, concise progress reports including supporting aerial photography... and a thorough review of the incremental invoicing.

They managed a project of (6) building re-roofs for my Association and the project ran smoothly without any issues that they couldn't handle. Our Condo Association received like 10 bids from various roofing contractors. But we were unable to make a decision because the estimates were SO different. Finally, we decided to hire Optamiss as our Roof Consultant. We were then able to choose our contractor because everyone bid on the same exact scope. We were given inspection reports and drone shots of the work being done throughout the project which gave me some peace of mind since I personally don't know much about roofing. Nothing but good things to say about our experience with this company. Though this is the first time that our condo association has worked with Optamiss, it was comforting to know that they were our eyes and ears on the job to make sure that the Contractor was not only using the right materials, but also giving us quality workmanship and not overcharging us. Optamiss even verified all unit quantities prior to approving the change orders. Man.....what a relief! . These guys are professional and actually did great work managing the concrete restoration project at our condominium.
