I scheduled an “emergency” appointment with Dr. Thaney and his team for a second opinion on some tooth pain that was causing bad headaches and difficulty concentrating. Dr. Thaney and Felicia were extremely educated, thorough and helped me understand what was going on, while giving me piece of mind. We are already on our way to correcting the problem, which has been dismissed by a different office. This is my first time coming to Brockport Smiles, but I’m so happy I did!

Relatively new to Brockport and with a front tooth crumbling before my eyes, I chose to forgo treatment at Eastman Dental (the last two residents who treated me were not exactly awe-inspiring) and find a private local service where I could receive consistent treatment from the same provider who would become familiar with my extreme dental phobia. So I chose Brockport Smiles, even though the practice does not accept Medicaid. My first time at Brockport Smiles was today. All the technicians.and administrative staff were friendly, good at their jobs and helpful. The dentist was very good at explaining my dental needs. He was also someone who both my wife and I felt really cares about his patients. We really both feel that we will be making this the place that we go to for our dental needs. We would never choose a chain dentist organization that has multiple locations where the patients are just nameless numbers that make the business profitable.

My son broke half of his front tooth off on a late Friday afternoon. We called Dr Thaney’s on call number and immediately got a call back from Dr Thaney asking for more information and some pictures. He asked to meet at 8am on Saturday to get it fixed. We arrived there Saturday morning and Dr Thaney was the only person there, obviously having come in on an early Saturday morning to make sure our son’s tooth was taken care of. He was able to reattach the piece quickly and could not have been more friendly or reassuring. We love the professionalism, advanced techniques and overall excellent experience

I have been going here for a year and have had nothing but amazing treatment! Everyone is so professional and personal. You will not get this anywhere else. I over heard the dentist chatting with a young boy about his soccer games in the waiting room. And the young boy and his mom had just walked in. That kind of bedside manner is hard to find anywhere.

The staff was friendly and informative from the moment I entered. Felicia made me feel well informed and explained everything BEFORE she did anything. Nothing was a surprise. When the doctor came it he asked about me. I didn’t, at any point, feel I was just a patient. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Every step was explained in full from procedures to payment plans.
