Inlet Seafood Restaurant
At Inlet Seafood Restaurant we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the freshest seafood possible, almost always locally-landed by one of our boats. A full-service bar and wine list plus amazing sunset and water views complete the experience at Inlet. Our sushi, well it may very well be the freshest sushi you've ever tasted, often swimming just the day before.

Inlet makes a variety of non-seafood dishes too, such as a tasty carnivore, roasted chicken or a cheeseburger. Our dessert selection and freshly brewed caffeinated beverages are the perfect finish to your dining experience. At Inlet Seafood we provide our customers with the freshest seafood possible straight off the dock.
Services
Owned by six commercial fishermen from Montauk, N.Y., Inlet opened its doors in the summer of 2006 as an offshoot of Montauk Inlet Seafood, the largest packer/shipper of fresh seafood in New York State. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the freshest seafood possible, almost always locally-landed by one of our boats, while adhering to the strictest conservation standards as required by both the state and the federal government.
Locally, from the East End, take 27 East to Montauk, pass through the downtown area of Montauk heading east toward the Montauk lighthouse. Make a left onto East Lake Drive approximately three miles past the main downtown area of Montauk. Take East Lake Drive for approximately 2.7 miles and on your left, you will see Inlet Seafood Restaurant.

Some of the best sushi we have had and a beautiful view. The tempura was light and airy without being oily which is very rare. The fish was fresh and delicious. Service was great. I wish we lived closer. We would come here often.

Food is great - atmosphere on the deck is amazing overlooking water. Sushi great. Service not friendly. Hostess was rude, said there was 1h wait, didn’t take our name and gave the couple behind us a table immediately - they won’t take a reservation.

Food great, staff…not so much. Unfortunately one bad apple can ruin an entire experience. Hopefully next visit there’s a competent upstairs bar manager working.

Love coming here every summer. Great place to watch the sunset and delicious food. The general Taos cauliflower, tuna tartare, and sushi rolls in particular are always a favorite. Only downside is no reservations but it’s worth it!

The vibe and the view is amazing. Food was excellent. Service was also great. We had an amazing time here eating and enjoying the view of the boats coming into and out of the inlet. The cocktails were delicious as well. Definitely recommend this as a lunch spot if you're looking for great food and awesome drinks.

This place is incredible. The food was delicious and came quickly. And the views are very nice. I would have liked to sit outside but it was raining when I went. I hope to go again soon.

Brian was a very good server.
Food was awesome. I think they just reopened for the season and if this keeps up, what a great season they'll have.
The mussels in the spicy marinara... amazing. The mussels were soft, cooked perfectly and not chewy... my wife literally ate the rest of the broth as if it were soup.
The 16 oz ribeye would challenge any high end steakhouse. Perfectly cooked, very little throwaway fat!

Glasses weren't clean. Lip marks which is never okay, but during covid makes you wonder about the hygiene. Beer was not right. Replaced the glass and beer with little acknowledgement. Food did not seem fresh despite their advertisement. I am not a hard person to please, but disappointed given that it was rated #2 in Montauk.
