Our veterinarians have the expertise to diagnose and treat most any disease or illness your pet may develop. Internal Medicine is a field of study that is specific to an animal's inner body systems. We look at the function of various areas of your pet's inside parts through non-invasive means, giving our doctors a clearer picture of your pet's health.
At Ark Veterinary Hospital in Kerrville, TX, we believe that one of the most important aspects of caring for your pet's health is vaccinating him or her against potential diseases. We provide vaccinations for dogs, cats and ferrets. We have the new Lyme vaccintions for dogs that get ticks and the Feline Leukemia vaccination for all cats.
At Ark Veterinary Hospital in Kerrville, TX, we are proud to be on the cutting edge of medical technology. Radiology is a technique and diagnostic tool that we use to look inside the body in a completely non-invasive way. X-rays allow us to create images of all the body's organs. In other words, the use of radiology gives us a view of the internal organs in your pet's body that we otherwise could not see.

Ramon the front desk is clerk is so rude and he has poor customer service. I will never go there again or recommend. I been there twice both times he’s rude and today he was very rude on the phone. This place needs a person that wants to be there....evidently he doesn’t and it shows...

HORRIBLE VET! I brought my sugar glider in for an abscess to left side of his face. He claims he gave an abx injection and sent him home on cipro eye drops. Eye worsened despite abscess draining a FOUL drainage so I brought him back....nothing was done despite my request to lance it and wash it out. Two days later my glider self mutilated the abscessed part of his face literally digging his skin and bottom eye lid completely off. I called the emergency line and this "vet" tries to blame it on the glider fighting with my other one which they have NEVER done! He had no regard to what has happened

Misinterpreted my dog's behavior as being spoiled and neurotic instead of being in pain. Worst dental ever. Dog had to be put down 48 hours later. I will never forgive myself for coming here. I knew better. I understand that vets are human just like anyone else, but DO NOT go to a "cheap" vet who doesn't even suggest pre-surgery blood work. Trust me, your dog is worth more. Spend the money.

If I could give this vet clinic no stars I would. The quality of care at this clinic is beyond neglectful and harmful and the clinic is filthy. My ex-husband took our co-custody dog into this clinic on Monday morning. He was not feeling well and generally acting poorly. My ex did not realize that I use Kerrville Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Richard Grafe and Dr David Cardwell...both vets are above excellent. Anyway, all that being said, my ex's boss had recommended Dr. Joel Bennett, because if he was unable to pay the vet bill he would do that for my ex. The diagnosis was a twisted gut.

Dr. Bennett took my sun conure in on a Saturday for an eye injury. Her right eyelids were stuck closed & I was so very worried that she might have also been blinded in that eye. After 3 days as an inpatient, her eye fully opened. Although she'd lost a very tiny piece of tissue from the lower lid, she seems to see perfectly well. Thank you Dr. Bennett for helping my little feathered friend & putting up with her neurotic "mom"...that would be me!

Joel Bennett has been our veterinarian for over 25 years. In that time he has treated our pets with great care and sensitivity. He and his staff are always at the top of their game. One of our dachshunds, Rusty, had lost the use of his back legs. Dr. Bennett formulated a plan, used the K-laser on him and after 10 weeks, Rusty was walking and running again. Dachshunds are prone to back problems and we have another dog that lost the use of her legs. He came to our home to pick her up and arranged her surgery in San Antonio. Dr. Bennett took charge of her 7 month rehabilitation without any

I own and operate a 60-cat rescue shelter and am a frequent visitor to The Ark. I have found Dr. Bennett and his staff to be extremely knowledgable, caring and devoted to administering the highest quality care to animals of all types. They take as much time as needed to be certain I understand the problem as well as the treatment protocol. Every one of the friends and colleagues I have referred to the Ark over the years has been equally as pleased. I highly recommend them; your beloved pet will be in good hands!

The quality of care here is just awful. After my animal had surgery I stopped by to find the clinic closed at lunch and no one there with the post surgical animals. When I approached Dr Bennett about it he dismissed me as if I was stupid to even be concerned. I have since used other vets in Kerrville and found them excellent so there's really no reason to ever bring your pet here if you care about them.

Customer service does not exist here. Was treated very disrespectful for someone of my age and stature. The phone was not answered nor was my message returned. Due to my pets timetable, I had to pick up his meds today. I also wanted to return food my pet would not eat. After making a trip to the office, I was sickened by the odor. The young girl greeted me with rudeness and appeared to be too busy to help me. I tried to communicate my concerns and take care of my transaction. I was ignored by the staffer & the Dr. I have taken my business elsewhere.
