In my darkest hour Mr. Ball was a beacon of light. He took on one of the hardest task of life and made it easy and bearable! His customer service was impeccable! My sons funeral was beautiful! They handled all the guess with integrity and respect. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. I’m so thankful to have been able to have this experience go do well. I am forever grateful!

All I know is that in such an unexpected sudden death of my dearest friend, the people whom work at this business were not only empathetic/sympathetic, they were extremely fair on pricing especially for ppl with hardly any money and not only that, they actually show compassion and understanding and will work with you on timing things properly! Everything was okay until the money was paid in full after we heard nothing . Leading up to the funeral I had to call everyday asking about makeup hair and transportation. Once I got phone call it was for the wrong family. Was again promised to call me back. No call back. The day of the funeral the limo was late 45mins and the body for the viewing. No alogize just go on with the day. After the burial we never heard anything so the take away is very unprofessional behavior after they get the money you wont hear from them , It made me feel like i choose the wrong place.

My son LDarius Moses recently transitioned to the afterlife, WinGate handled everything with compassion, and professionalism. Thanks to all of you but especially Raymond who was kind, patient, informative and knowledgeable about a process I knew nothing about. Also my son looked absolutely beautiful at the viewing. Thank you at a time when things were extremely hard, but you made the transition process easy, with no worries! For this I’m eternally grateful.

Our beautiful granddaughter went to be with our Lord on August 20th. After 15 months of battling Glioblastoma she had to leave here for her heavenly home. Her wish was to donate herself to Life Gift who harvested her corneas and 2 people can see now because of her gift. They were able to use her skin to help many. This beautiful granddaughter also donated herself for a study for brain cancer and her legacy hopefully will help others from her donation of her brain to find a cure. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Be very careful when dealing with this funeral home. Per their own words they will allow anyone to come in and make claims on a deceased person without the legally required documentation. They allowed someone who walked in off the street, who did not arrange for, pay for, nor sign the paperwork for their services, to claim to be my late father's wife. This person was not married to my father, but on her say so they listed her as spouse on the death certificate, and at her word refused to give us his ashes, the day before his memorial service. I was looking for a Funeral home on General search after checking with different ones found Wingate Funeral. Wonderful people all of them. Good service, good customer service, super polite, caring. My family have had to unfortunately (only unfortunate because we have lost loved ones) had to use Wingate a couple of times. We are fortunate to have met a wonderful group of people who actually care about your love ones. They have showed professionalism and pride in everything they do.
