Primary Care recognizes the importance of comprehensive, routine annual examinations in order to evaluate and assess each aspect of your pet's lifestyle.
Our annual wellness visits concentrate on providing a greater picture on a health history baseline by focusing and addressing any general or specific concerns with your pet, as well as by performing a thorough physical examination evaluating diet, dental and oral health, eyes, heart, ears, and lungs.

AAHA accreditation is a voluntary process - we chose to be inspected and regulated in order to demonstrate our modern and compassionate practices. AAHA Accreditation is reserved for animal hospitals who demonstrate a very high standard of excellence in veterinary care - in fact, fewer than 15% of veterinary hospitals have chosen and qualified to be AAHA accredited!
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. In order to focus on our patient's needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we are unable to bill. We do offer wellness plans allowing you to choose the best care for your pet, while distributing the cost for this care over 12 months. Multiple options are available allowing you to customize care for your pet's specific needs.

I feel like they didn't even try to see what was wrong with my cat. We told the doctor what was wrong and all she did was give us medication. She didn't even do an exam on her so I knew something was not right with this clinic. Two weeks later my cat got sick again so we called to see we can come in asap. They said they're booked but they recommended us to this clinic in Bixby Knolls and I have to say they're way better than Primary Care. We told them what was wrong and they did a full examination on my cat. It was a big relief. So thanks to the front desk for recommending this clinic.

Dr. Jacobo has been my companion’s veterinarian for over 7 years now. He knows how much my little man means to me and he has/is always making sure he does what is best for my pashee. Dr. Jacobo also never pushes or insists on unnecessary medical treatments which I appreciate very much.🙏

By far, the very best pet hospital and veterinarian clinic we've ever taken our cat Sylvia to. Always compassionate, active listeners, professional customer service and pretty time efficient considering how popular they are and the quality of the care they provide. You may have to wait a bit to get an appointment (again because of their popularity/level of care) however, you can call in daily for any cancellations, and often when we've needed to be seen urgently, we've been able to get a slot. Highly recommend PCAH. <3

My cat Oscar is a diabetic cat and is not regulated on his insulin. I just moved back to CA and was going to another clinic. Even when CA opened up from Covid they wouldn't allow owners in and not even meeting the vet was awful. I moved to Primary care and have been able to be apart of Oscars care while coming in office and meeting the Vet. He had problems breathing our last visit the doctor worked with me and made it financially possible for him to get the fluid drained from his chest and he is now on heart meds and so far doing well. I appreciate their care with Oscar.

I have been going to this particular vet since it opened, I love their hours as I work and it is very available with night and weekend hours. The Vets are great never had any problems the staff is really friendly and helpful. definitely a five star review.

All the staff is so friendly and you can tell they all know how to handle and care for the pets. My experience is always good there when my pets see Dr. Nguyen. She is truly the best vet! so attentive, patient, and thorough. I never feel that my pets are getting more test than they truly need. With most vets I have previously gone to, I feel like they are up-selling tests. We love Primary Care and especially Dr. Nguyen.

Primary is a wonderful resource for animal medical care. Outstanding veterinarians along with surgeons too. Over the years, they not only treat my pets, but care for them too. They really care about their patients. I'm most appreciative for not just their professionalism, but kindness too. This is a one-stop facility for me.
