End of life planning is among the hardest topics I've ever had to come to terms with. Ms Sheila Rutz was my professional consultant at Arlington memorial garden who explained everything in detail with an exemplary level of kindness, and detailed explanations of the various nuances of cremation. Her professional approach and personal touch makes her a remarkable human I know can call 'friend'. Thank you!

Staff was very courteous and my father's funeral was nice. However, they promised they would notify me when his burial marker from the VA arrived. I received a card from the VA saying the marker was ordered in June and to expect delivery to the cemetery in 4-6 weeks. Never heard anything from the cemetery. Finally called today (mid-August) to inquire and was informed that the marker had been received and installed in mid-July. It's nice that it's not been lost, but I really would have appreciated it if Arlington had notified me as they said they would. Just disappointing to hear, "oh, well, we

MR FRANK JAMES HAS REALLY HELPED ME IN TRADING AND MAKING A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE SUPPORT OF MY BUSSINESS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE IN THIS PAGE TO ALSO GET ADVISE FROM HIM ON HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON FOREX TRADING. Thanks to FRANK JAMES for helping me and my family trade, I got my withdrawal (cash out) yesterday. You're the best trader I've… ever experience myself. After many times of been defrauded of my funds, i finally get to cash out. He's legit, reliable and experience. I invested $500 to earn $5,800... Easier than I thought FRANK JAMES you're the best trader I can recommended

My Father passed away this past January and was buried there in the Garden of patriotism. My Mother has a plot next to him and I have purchased and paid in full for a vault next to them. On the day that my Father was to be buried, they were unable to do so because the rain had saturated the ground. Before his burial I looked at our grave sites and noted that they were full of water and I commented to a lady that works there that I did not want my mother to see that as it would upset her and she assured me that they would fix it. I assumed they were not able to do so because it had rained quite

My family has been laid to rest in this cemetery since 1980. They didn’t pay the prices they do now for burial. But they were confident that the up keep of their sites would always be taken care of. Both my grandparents and my mother are in the Garden of Prayer and every time I go there I get distraught. Both grave sites are so dirty that you can… barely see them. My mom is sinking. It seem like this garden is not taken very good care of not sure why. Tire tracks and mud all over. It’s sad for the people who still can visit, with all the new things going on, care of this garden

I have had family buried at Arlington since I was a child. Now skip ahead 47 years and the grounds have always been well maintained. I live out of state but I have family who send me pictures of my parents sites and they are always well maintained. It is a beautiful resting place and I’m grateful for the care and kindness received in some very difficult times.

What do you want on your tombstone?
My parents purchased 4 spaces in the Garden of Everlasting Life in the 1950"s. Dad was buried in 1988 and mom in 2012, leaving 2 which were owned jointly by my brothers and me. My brothers agreed to transfer them to me now (instead of at time of death) so I could make things easier for my adult children by pre planning. That sounded good in theory but I was a little nervous about what I was getting myself into. Would it feel creepy to pick out my own tombstone? Would I feel pressured to choose something I didn't want? Not at all. I was delighted to work with

The courteous, professional staff at Arlington Memorial Gardens helped guide me through a most difficult time. From Byron Adkins, Managing Funeral Director, making phone calls on my behalf to Vi Daniels, Family Care Advisor, patiently explaining options to me, everyone was sensitive and supportive. I will be forever grateful for their assistance.
