Services
At Progressive Women's Healthcare we believe you and your family deserve the very best. That's why our midwives work in partnership with our expectant couples. We want our families to experience safe, high-quality care along with the compassion and sensitivity that is often missing from today's medical environment.
Choosing which type of birth control is best for you is very personal. The right type of birth control for you depends on many things, including your medical and family history. You will also want to consider how effective you need birth control to be, when or if you want to have a baby, the cost of the birth control method, and what you have to do, such as take a pill each day or put on a condom before having sex.
It is recommended that babies receive no foods or liquids except breast milk for the first six months of life and then get complementary foods along with continued breastfeeding when your baby is 6-12 months of age. Reduced risk for later development of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
If you are healthy and your pregnancy is normal, it is safe to continue or start most types of exercise, but you may need to make a few changes. Physical activity does not increase your risk of miscarriage, low birth weight, or early delivery. However, it is important to discuss exercise with your obstetrician or other member of your health care team during your early prenatal visits.
Labor is the work that your body does to birth your baby. Your uterus (the womb) contracts (tightens). The contractions (labor pains) push your baby down onto your cervix (the opening of your uterus). This pressure causes your cervix to open. When your cervix is completely open (10 centimeters dilated), you will push your baby through your vagina and out into the world.

New patient, and I will return. Everyone in the office is nice and very helpful. Wish I would have gotten the lady's name who helped me, because she was the sweetest and helped me understand my insurance. She gave me my price and I feel confident returning.

So, as stated above, I've returned to Dr. O's office and have been a loyal patient for months now, and still give it 5 stars. My visits are never prolonged and I feel extremely comfortable with my care. Nurse S. is absolutely wonderful and does a great job at staying on top of everything in the office. I still

I'm not sure what's so progressive about this place. I'm in a room waiting to be seen and I have been waiting nearly an hour since my appointment was scheduled. I can hear the Dr have conversations on the other side of the door talking about how to deal with no shows. I'm here and want to be seen!!! Now I understand why people don't show up.
