When you first begin the process of designing a funeral, the decisions you'll face might seem overwhelming at first. We're here to help you tackle the choices one by one and make the journey one of love, healing, and life celebration.
The process can be broken down into two stages: decisions regarding the service and how you'd like to honor your loved one's life, and decisions regarding how you'd like to care for your loved one's physical remains.Whether it's formal or informal, traditional or offbeat, a funeral provides an opportunity for family and friends to gather and support one another in taking the first steps of their healing journey.

Sometimes the thought of planning a funeral seems too difficult for those who've suffered a loss. We're here to help lighten your burden and remind you of the true value a ceremony can hold for you and your family. Coping with a loss is never easy, and services are an essential part of the recovery process.
When your loved one has chosen to be buried, the ceremonies you design usually involves the casket being present. Traditions may be followed with a viewing and a funeral service in our chapel or a local church. Or, you could choose to have a memorial service after the burial. Our chapel will accommodate 150 family members and friends to celebrate and memorialize your loved one.
We are pleased to annouce our new On Site crematory. This will provide the needed peace of mind that your loved one will remain in our care. The most important component in your choice of cremation is to know who owns and operates the crematory. We operate our own crematory here in Northwest Houston.

Ceasar was EXTREMELY helpful when getting the process started for my Mother in law. My husband is active duty and had to travel across country to get her affairs in order. We had already spoken to them and were able to get everything going as soon as he got there. Due to Texas being a hot spot for Covid the process took a little longer then normal. The entire family was EXTREMELY compassionate and helped us through every step of the way. Big shout out to Robert who kept us updated several times through the whole ordeal. Thank you so much and we would strongly recommend them to any and everyone

**UPDATE**
I have adjusted the rating to two stars for the following reasons:
1. Total lack of communication
2. Repeated errors in the paperwork
3. Uncompassionate demeanor and flippant attitude (consistently) of the lady who works there.
At this point I wouldn't trust them to handle the final needs of my dog let alone another loved one. Made an emotionally difficult time substantially harder for our family.
I will adjust my score as necessary if need be but my initial evaluation is 5 stars. Being able to call and speak to a human being who cared even at midnight really means a lot to me

Cypress Creek was one of the best decisions we made during our sad family situation. I can't say enough good things about Robert, Cesar, and the rest of the Cypress Creek staff. You definitely don't feel like you're dealing with a large, impersonal, company - instead you feel like the entire staff is concentrating on you and your family's needs. Unlike many other funeral homes, when you book Cypress Creek, your family has the entire facility, so you don't have to worry about potential customers walking in and out during your service. Additionally, on the day of your service they greet your guests

My experience with the Cavazos Funeral Home and Cavazos family was phenomenal. They treated my family and I with kindness and respect from the day we requested funeral arrangements to the day of my father's funeral. Mr. Robert Cavazos even helped me when I made a boo boo walking into the church. He offered his elbow to me on more than one occasion throughout the funeral services (10.12.16). The entire family is nothing but professional and genuinely good people. I will be entrusting the rest of my family's care to the Cavazos' as the time arises. Very affordable, no pressure to spend on anything

My Grandfather passed away and Cavazos Funeral gave my family nothing but the very best. Their facility was well maintained with great decorations. My grandfathers service was help in the Little York facility, however, I am in the process of looking for another funeral and I went to the new facility off 1960 and Kuykendahl and it is just BEAUTIFUL! Robert Cavazos and his team are heading in the right direction. The decor is beautiful and it is definitely a place where you can see your loved ones for the last time! My family was happy to see my grandfather go in this facility! Thank you Cavazos
