As a young trainer, I took the traditional path of acquiring all the top certifications and attending the newest continuing education workshops.
Our classes are designed to meet the dynamic needs of each students. You'll be introduced to functional strength, active mobility and elements of ground movement and locomotion. These classes draw on disciplines including gymnastics, dance, martial arts, yoga, and weightlifting. Exercises are layered with various progressions to cater to all fitness levels.

I have been a part of the movement class for last two months and third month in the row. These classes have definitely made me stronger. I started with very bad body awareness and now I am more aware of my body. I have developed strength and flexibility. If there's something that I can't do the trainers always gives us a variation of that exercise and everyday is a new workout routine. Love it and definitely highly recommended.

I've been attending movement classes for the past 6 weeks and have already seen great improvements. Not only am I stronger, but my overall joint and muscle mobility has really improved. My body feels better than it has in a long time. The classes are small and allow for lots of 1:1 feedback and modifications from instructors, who are all fantastic. Each class builds upon the last, which creates a motivating and fun environment. Highly recommend checking them out!

I really enjoyed the movement classes. I purchased a 1 month 2x weekly group Movement series that really challenged different and new parts of my body. Will has an innate knack for enhancing locomotion and strength via movement and making working out fun and engaging.
I also loved how he always had another practitioner to assist us during the sessions, that way each person felt well attended to and supported. After the initial shock of early mornings, I became extremely excited to attend our 6:30am sessions.
I highly recommend Willspace. Will and his team are amazing, and your body will thank

Its programming is based largely on the Ido Portal movement method & targeted towards anyone who is looking to improve their mobility, flexibility, body weight strength, coordination, movement & longevity - so everyone. Personal training & group classes are offered & are all scalable in intensity & volume depending on your experience. Will & his staff are fantastic & the movement medicine program they offer here is a rare find especially in New York City.

Quick summary; I'm middle aged with a below average BMI. I have a herniated disc and pinch nerve. I've done physical therapy, massage, self workout care to no avail. Figuring surgery was my last option, I decided to go all in for a better solution. During Covid, I did my research and having been following Will Space on social media, I knew this was the type of workout and methods I needed. Will is a master craftsmen at his profession. So no matter what level of trainer you're with, the standards are high and he's always available to give notes. As are all instructors. Everyone works well together

My wife bought me a couple virtual coaching sessions in June because she was tired of hearing me complain about my hip and back pain from the combination of sitting too much at work as well as going for long runs when I got home. At first, I was skeptical because I have worked out on my own for most of my life and I didn’t really think I needed a trainer. However, after 3 months of sessions with Estevan I am totally hooked!

This place was awesome! The space itself is clean and modern. I thoroughly enjoyed my Active Flexibility class. My goal is to perfect the front splits and so I took this class with hopes of learning a better technique to my stretching, and I most definitely did. I learned some stretches that I still use when independently. The trainer, Jorge was fun, informative, helpful and well-connected with the students. This place is a definite yes.

I'm been working with Willspace for personal training and recently attended one of their core body workout fitness classes. The place is brand new and has a great vibe. The class was exactly want I'd expect from Willspace - a high intensity combination of strength and flexibility training. Willspace Movement is my new place for exercise classes!

I've taken two Active Flexibility classes at Willspace and have been very pleased with them. I struggle with mobility and range of motion, and this class's combination of yoga-like poses with longer holds is perfect for someone like me, as it really allows me to sink into difficult positions and activate muscles that have gotten a little stiff over time. Lauren's incredible attitude keeps the whole thing lighthearted and enjoyable, despite the challenge, and I'm looking forward to more.

Willspace is the greatest, I am so happy that I found my way to this place— I love it so much that even though I am moving to another neighborhood, I will continue to train here because I know nowhere else will be as good. Clean and inviting, this is a space where all the coaches and even all of the clients are always friendly and encouraging. This is not your typical gym, the coaches here have all the usual knowledge of gym equipment and training, weight lifting, rowing, etc, and they are superb at coaching in these disciplines, however they also possess a much broader knowledge of other types

My shoulders look SO much better! My arms are getting toned! I needed to get moving and build strength, and wanted something I could integrate into my life without being in a gym. I started working out at Willspace a few years ago and it's been incredible watching the shift of how they train there. Will had a true vision of how to change your body and how it works through stretching, flexibility and strength training. Since I have started up again with Willspace, I have noticed a huge improvement in my hip and shoulder mobility. Those two areas have always held me back in my work outs. Update: I’ve been working out here for two years. I still love the staff. I moved uptown about a year ago and go out of my way to come back and keep working with Will and his team. They are all amazing: Jorge, Lauren, Kim and James.
Will Space is an amazing intimate gym that is extremely professional but has a family feel. All of the trainers are super nice and they focus on proper form over higher reps or weight. I found WillSpace about a year and half ago. I initially was looking for a gym with boxing in the West Village but what I found was a family of trainers in an intimate gym that really care about helping you reach your goals and push past whatever personal blocks are in your way. They push proper form over more weight and reps, and truly know health. They have a vast array of trainers with skills from Muay Thai, gymnastics, cross fit, yoga, every type of fitness experience you can imagine. Will encourages getting healthy in mind and body and they all practice what they preach.

I've been to many different trainers in NYC, and Will Torres is absolutely one of the best. I need trainers that are extremely knowledgable about form and posture, and Will understands how muscle groups interact and explains this very clearly when developing a program. After a month with Will twice per week, I was in the best shape of my life and have continued seeing transformative results.
