I just had my first initial intake appointment with Skaer and had a wonderful experience! They thoughtfully listened as I gave my dogs history, asked questions, and were very positive! They offered me a suggested list of services but I didn’t feel any pressure at all do do more than I originally brought her in for. They gave me tons of pamphlets… and information to read, as well as a new measuring cup. They were supportive and non-judge mental. They took care of my dog really well and I felt confident when they took her inside by herself. It was reasonably priced and I’m excited

I had a stray kitty show up at my house who was pretty sick. I wanted to get him in to a vet quickly and luckily Skaer was able to fit me in on the same day. He ended up being very ill and needing to be euthanized. I had gotten very attached to him in his time with me and every single person in this office went above and beyond to not only ensure… he was kept comfortable but that I was kept up to date every step of the way. I really appreciate the compassion they showed the kitty not to mention myself. It was a really rough decision and they made it bearable.

Very patient and kind. Updated thru the entire process and they are very understanding about nervous pet parents during this time where you can’t be with your fur babies during the exam because of Covid. I’m… extremely grateful for the whole crew that saw my boy Apollo today! Danielle was absolutely a joy to speak with and I’m thankful for her patience as well as the others who worked with him as my boy can be quite the hyper handful!

Wow. What can I even say... these people are PROS. They made my Max feel safe and secured while running all kinds of blood work and getting samples of his skin. Kept him distracted and even kept my price as low as they could. Such nice and caring staff. They practice fear free care so if your baby is scared they give the option to sedate. They don't want the animal to be stressed or scared in their care.

I work out of town a lot so I'm always looking for a good veterinary clinic for my two 2 1/2 pound teacup yorkies that travel with me. As luck would have it on my way out of the hotel the staff wanted to see my dogs. My male started chewing on his leash and gotten it stuck between his back teeth. We had to make an emergency trip to the vet to remove it. These guys were great! They were courteous and prompt and I was on my way. If I remember right it was around $39 or so.

We can't say enough good things about the doctors and staff. They have provided excellent care to our Wheaten Terriers through some very serious issues over the last 13 years and for our Labrador for many years before that! We might even say they performed miracles!! The staff are terrific, helpful, and kind.

The best Veterinary clinic in Wichita. I know, I've tried several. Some people think they're more expensive, but actually they are more thorough. In fact, they caught a type of bladder tumor in my little Norwich Terrier that K-State had never successfully removed because there are so few symptoms that it usually kills dogs before anyone notices it. That was about 1 or 2 years ago and Gizmo is still fine. If your pets' health and happiness is important to you this is the place to take them. The vets here are better than most of the doctors in town.
