We at Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic strive to use our knowledge, compassion, and professionalism, coupled with our mobile and clinical practice, to care for the unique needs of our patients while exceeding the expectations of our clients. During this period, animals that are not in compliance with this rule will not receive points or be eligible for Federation and/or USHJA programs and awards. After this period, all horses that are competing in classes which require USHJA registration which are not microchipped will be ineligible to compete in Federation licensed competitions.
The 6400-square-foot facility features two exam rooms, a surgery suite with two induction/recovery rooms, in-house laboratory, federally approved EIA/Coggins laboratory, spacious reception area, and 12 hospital stalls. In addition to routine/preventative care such as immunizations and de-worming, Nebraska Equine offers advanced lameness diagnostics, reproductive work, routine and emergency surgery.
Breeding mares and caring for foals are major daily endeavors at Nebraska equine, especially during spring and summer. The many reproductive services we offer include stallion collection; semen evaluations; breeding mares via fresh-collected, cooled-shipped, or frozen semen; dealing with problem mares; and embryo transfer.
Dr. Black helped us with a colt with a blocked tear duct and was very patient and informative! Dr. Kim Conover was very friendly with lots of information on how to Doctor my mare with a very bad cut over her fetlock joint. The videos on their website were very helpful also! NEVC staff and doctors are amazing and caring professionals.

Dr Cook and the rest of the staff at Nebraska Equine were amazing to work with. Our previous large animal vet had retired and recommended us to Nebraska Equine. Dr Cook was knowledgeable and professional whenever she was called out to either give preventive or treatment care. Unfortunately, we recently had to euthanize our elderly horse. Dr Cook was compassionate and made sure we understood the procedure. She helped us give our beloved horse cross over the rainbow bridge in a dignified, caring manner.

My pony had an emergency come up, the staff was every easy to talk to and work with and they got me in the same day! (I fully expected to have to wait) Dr. Cook was so sweet, patient and helpful. She explained everything she was doing, answered all of our questions, had conversations with my son, she was very thorough and professional. 10/10 recommend!
