In the mid-1970s, the John Feeney Funeral Home realized that preplanning a funeral or cremation service in advance made the service even more appropriate, as it allowed a person to state his or her wishes in writing.
A traditional service provides one final opportunity for family and friends to view their loved one in a peaceful repose. For generations, funeral directors have honed this ability to capture the natural beauty of a loved one for this moment of remembrance. We offer several affordable options when it comes to traditional funerals.
This service combines the traditional viewing service with a cremation as the final interment instead of a burial. Our package includes pickup within Berks County, transfer to our funeral home with up to 3 days of refrigerated storage, embalming, dressing, casketing and cosmetizing, use of the funeral home for a daytime viewing and religious service, a rental casket, transport to the crematory and return of ashes to the funeral home.
