Can't say this is a bad center, however their billing practices is horrible. Called me the day before my wife's surgery and told us that we have to pay up front prior to the procedure. Finding this out less than 24 hours before we were scheduled. Paying wasn't the problem, the fact that they sprung this on us just hours before! Beware if you expect this to all run through your insurance and get a final bill. We are new to the Austin area and have never had an upfront medical bill, every where we've lived it has always been billed! Again...beware

My son had an IV port installed at this location and he was very impressed with checkin efficiency, treatment by surgical staff and post OP nurses. Considering some of the experiences he has had at other local hospitals, it was refreshing. Hospitals need to understand and concentrate on patient anxiety. Because of COVID, patients cannot have family with them as advocates, which can be frightening. Compassion is a huge part of treatment.

Went in for a Achilles’ tendon repair by DR. Burrus. Went super great! It was my first surgery and the staff made me feel super comfortable and welcome. Also being that because of Covid virus my family wasn’t able to come in so it made all the more better that everyone was so nice and willing to explain everything to me that I didn’t understand at first. Super clean inside! 5 Stars across the board!

I had a procedure here for my shoulder in July 2019. I would like to say; having read the other reviews I was scared that the post-surgical care would be rushed and rude. I didn't receive this type of treatment at all. I came to with a nurse at my side who was tending to my every need. They were very kind and very attentive. I didn't really have a choice of the venue for this procedure, but if I would have I would be glad to having had chosen this one.

I had surgery here yesterday this place really sets the standard for medical care. I read all the reviews prior to going here and was worried but I don’t know what any of your bad reviews are for they were perfect. I am in the medical field and have a high standard and expectations out of this world. They nailed it from the front office desk to the nurses in preop , during and recover my doctor of course is amazing. After surgery was in a lot of pain they got it under control immediately. They have me comfortable from start to finish was the best experience I could have ever asked for. It was

Everything about this surgical center ran smooth as ice. We were checked in immediately, and I was brought back to pre-op in a timely fashion. Each member of the team was so personable and made me feel comfortable!! This is my second time at this surgical center and I couldn't recommend them ore highly. I couldn't even call out an individual person...they were all great!!

My teenage daughter had surgery there in November 2016. Surgeon was fabulous, pre-surgical team was great, but the post op recovery nurse did not meet the needs of my daughter. She continually asked for her parents to come back after surgery. We waited 2+ hours after surgery before we were allowed back. My teenager was nervous and stressed and simply wanted her parents by her side once she was awake. I was disappointed that we were not allowed to re-connect with her once she was awake, especially in light of her age. Nurse's demeanor was not warm, but more business like.

On 10/5/16 I had ankle surgery performed at Central Park Surgery Center in Austin, Texas. I am taking time to write a review in hope that this reaches the staff.
Background:
I have unfortunately gone through 4 similar surgeries in my life Both Knees and one shoulder. All have been outpatient procedures and have gone very well.
Latest Experience:
This being my fourth surgery I went in knowing what to expect from the process. I will have to say the staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed my pre-op experience.
My ISSUE comes Post-op where I was sent home so drugged out and in pain that I

Incredibly Horrible Experience.
I had surgery for a deviated septum there and after the procedure they rushed me out of the hospital as if they were over booked. My roommate was picking me up when they said I would be ready, but immediately after the operation when I was on the bed, hooked up to iv, they kept on insisting that I call him and see if I can find a ride sooner. I was disoriented, had to be in a wheel chair in order to leave the facility and was throwing up blood. They just kept hurrying me to leave and get out even though I could barely stay awake. I have never been to a hospital
