Services
In Illinois, vehicles are required to have an emissions test at a state test center before the license plate will be renewed for that year. If a vehicle doesn't pass this test, repairs will need to be made. Pulse Auto Care can perform those necessary repairs in order to get your vehicle to pass the test and put you back on the road.

Been here twice and I have had great experiences both times. They have the best price point for full synthetic oil, their lounge area is comfortable, their front desk staff is very friendly and I'm very pleased with the overall service. They fixed the issue with my check engine light and it was cool to see the inspection notes. They also offer a military discount which I absolutely appreciate!!

I definitely recommend this auto repair shop. They are very friendly, professional and give you honest answers that you can ACTUALLY understand. I was referred here by a co-worker of mine about 2 months ago and they have done a ton of work for me already. They are extremely reasonable and what I love the most is, if I don't need a part brand new, they would advised me to get a re-built part to save me money on the repair, since I would have a warranty with them anyway. They have saved me so much money and I can't thank them enough. I love Pulse auto care and will continue to get my car repairs

My wife and I can personally attest that the five star rating that you see is not a scam. Rick and Jillian run an incredible company, from the customer service to the work done on your car. Everything is top notch. They aren't trying to up sell you and they will always give you the honest truth in estimates. We've NEVER trusted an auto shop until I came here.

Bought a couple of Groupons for Pulse and they were very good. The Groupons were only for oil changes so I can't really say much about the shops work and prices. The staff were very friendly and didn't try to sell me anything extra that I probably didn't need. Their waiting room is definitely the best waiting room I've ever seen at a body shop that's for sure. They seem like an honest shop which to me is a great thing.

Pulse Auto Care runs an honest business and their work shows it. I had consistent issues with my tires recently, and assumed it was just the weather - until it would lose pressure every day. I brought it in for them to look at and they suggested I may need new tires. I however purchased tires less than a year ago from a big brand auto store (still had the invoice to prove it). They ended up taking it upon themselves to bring in my car to a local, but same big brand auto store to get the tires fixed and they did not ask for any labor or parts cost. I was originally bummed when my mechanic (for 15 years) Walter (at Walter automotive) retired/closed his business. I am happy I found another mechanic I can trust. I have gone to Pulse in multiple occasions over the last year with each of my 3 cars. Owners Jillian and Rick are just great to work with and most of all honest. They truly understand the concept of customer service and keeping a customer for the "long run". I Highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING A+ SERVICE: I have a 2004 Mazda 3 with 230,000 miles on it. My car had been misdiagnosed at another nearby local auto center so I decided to give Pulse a shot after reading some glowing reviews. They lived up to the hype and exceeded all of my expectations. My engine light was on, acceleration was sputtering and there was a noisy vibration coming from the front wheels. The team at Pulse confidently figured out exactly what was wrong with the car. It's an old car that has been driven hard and they prioritized the repairs to make sure that it was safe to drive. The prices were competitive

I brought my 1998 Ford Econoline panel van in for oil change and air conditioning recharge from a Groupon that I purchased. The cost was very reasonable and the work was done very quickly. The waiting room is extremely comfortable and clean. Definitely the best automotive repair waiting room I have ever attended. The work was done beyond my satisfaction and my air conditioning hasn't worked this well in many years. I would recommend pulse auto and I will definitely return.

My husband bought the Groupon for an A/C recharge and I expected this shop to be like any other auto shop I've been to. Let me tell you, I was blown away. Right when you walk in Jillian greets you and is so friendly. Their waiting room feels like a homey living room with TV, sofa, chairs, and games to entertain. They also have a kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee and tea! I'm not a coffee drinker so I was very excited to see a selection of tea to brew. If you are looking for honest and quality service, Pulse Auto is the place to go. Every time i have a problem with one of my 3 cars i call Pulse. Jill is very efficient with getting appointments scheduled and im very satisfied with how quickly Rick is able to repair my cars and get me back on the road. They do a very good job with explaining the repairs done so i always know exacly what im paying for. I highly recommend this shop.
