Buckeye Appraising performed a VA appraisal on one of my listings. Like many VA appraisals, there were a few small items that needed to be touched up. Jeff at Buckeye Appraising did an OUTSTANDING job communicating with me regarding the repairs needed and scheduling a re-check. He also made sure I was alerted when the final paperwork was filed with the lender. Responsiveness, communication, and a friendly caring attitude. These guys are awesome!

The appraisal was professional but the comps were not an accurate depiction of the property. The three comps that were used were from houses that were houses that sold low due to needing remodeled so their value was lower than my house that is 90% remodeled. Also none of them were in my neighborhood or had the yard I have. I had an appraisal before my equity loan and it was 280,000. The appraisor took into consideration that my property was unique and would be hard to find a comp that would do it justice. I put 50,000 into my house and they appraised the house for 250,000. How did I lose 30,000

I was very disappointed with the appraisal I received from Buckeye Appraising. The number of mistakes and typos they made were very concerning. They couldn't even spell my name correctly in the report. When I received the report, the print quality of the document was very poor. Parts of the document were grainy/blurry and unreadable. I reached out to Jeff and Sara who informed me that despite the fact that I am paying for this report, they refused to release a better quality PDF to me. 90% of the information in the document is information my realtor provided them. This outfit isn't the professional

My wife and I had our home appraised with Buckeye Appraising in March. We had a lot of questions and concerns in regards to our appraisal. Jeff went out of his way and even came back to meet with my wife and I, at our home, to go over the appraisal. We appreciate the professionalism and kindness that Jeff and his team provided.
