Born and raised in Greenville, Alabama, Dr. Nancy Gafford attended the University of Alabama where she earned her bachelor's degree. She then studied dentistry at The University of Alabama School of Dentistry and graduated in 1986. After earning her doctorate, Dr. Gafford completed a residency in general practice at the Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.
