Our office is located right off the I 805 / I 5 S split, off the Sorrento Valley / Mira Mesa Blvd.

I don't know where all those positive reviews come from. I had completely opposite experience. I've been getting quotes from few different places and Dr Shah insisted on doing what others did not recommend to do at this point. He will dig deep into your pocket. Decided to go with a different dentist.

Love Sorrento Smiles! The team is nothing but sweet and helpful! Dr. Shah does an awesome job, and never pressures you to do anything that isn't necessary, which I find extremely important. Not only that, he walks you through the state of your dental health in detail, lists what you should monitor, what you're doing right, etc. I never feel rushed. It's as pleasant as a dentist visit can be! :)

I went to Dr Shah in October of 2018. I had two cavities filled. Fast forward to June 2019 both the teeth that the filling got done need a root canal done. According to the other dentist Dr Shah might have not the done work correctly and missed a spot which lead to further cavity under the filling done. I did call them up and was just referred to a specialist. I was hoping that the doctor would take responsibility for the poor work done. In any case both the specialist and the new dentist who did the crown agreed that Dr Shah left some space below the filling causing the bacteria to grow and hence

Dr.Shah is the best! Me and my husband just moved to SD and at first we were nervous about seeing someone new. When I first met him, my worries were gone immediately and after a couple visits I am so glad that he is the first dentist we visited in SD! He is super caring and detail. The office is very clean and no wait at all if you make your appointment ahead of time! Love the staffs here!

It's one of those cases where I grew up hating the dentist, to the point where I would have large gaps between visits just due to the anxiety. My teeth have had a lot of cavities in the past, I get nervous easily, and my eyes are photosensitive to the dentist lights. Generally this led to terrible experiences with previous dentists.
I don't want to give horror stories on other dentists though, but talk about all the great things Dr. Shah and the rest of the Sorrento Smiles

Dr. Shah is hands down the best dentist around. He's a kind person, charges reasonable prices and never tries to up-sell you on procedures you don't need. The office is always impeccably spotless and the support staff are super friendly.

I had a great experience at Sorrento Smiles. Kathy at the front desk is phenomenal and helped me to get an appointment the next day when I had a filling come off. She also was very knowledgeable about my insurance plan and looked into my coverage prior to my visit to ensure I was getting the best service. Dr. Shah was also fantastic and walked me through every detail of my cleaning (while also finishing my appointment on time in 50 minutes for full X-Rays, a cleaning, and full exam). I'm really hesitant when it comes to finding a dentist, hence why i stayed at my previous dentist for so long despite bad experiences over a period of 5 years. I was so fed up with my previous dentist that i decided to find another that was also located closer to me. The front desk, Kathy, is always quick to respond, but also, they've been super thoughtful and going above and beyond to helping me out. for example, my husband was in between jobs and so I didn't have our new insurance, but they looked up patients with the same benefits and just worked with the information they had

Dr Shah is a very professional dentist and I am satisfied with the treatment that was provided. I had some filling work done and it was seamless and very systematic. I think I have found my dentist for life. Dr. Shah is as amazing as it gets. He is very thorough, meticulous and very gentle. I generally dread going to the dentist, but not to Dr. Shah. He is the extremely gentle while he is operating. He has lot of experience and is passionate about dental health. He is not there to rip you off by suggesting unnecessary procedures, but he is genuinely interested in your long term well being of your dental health. I am convinced that he has my best interest in mind. Dentist like him are rare to find these days and I am glad I found one.

The staff particularly Ann, who took my information was one of the friendliest people I ever met in San Diego. Dr. Shah himself was exceptional in his consultation and cleaning. He was patient with me, explaining in details about my condition and the preventive and treatment process for it. They also provide very affordable pricing.

I don't think anyone generally enjoys going to the dentist, but Dr. Shah and his staff make it the best experience possible. The staff is very friendly and approachable and I really enjoy the conversations I have with them!
I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and was very insecure about my teeth. Needless to say I had a lot of cavities to be filled. I came back to see Dr. Shah for teeth whitening this time around and my experience has been fantastic. I am seeing great results within only a few days and it's amazing. I use to use Crest white strips; however, I never got the results that I wanted and it also it took too long. What Dr. Shah gave me is working very well and I love it. :D

I already had a high-quality dentist prior to coming here but I have decided to switch to Sorrento Smiles Dentistry because Dr. Shah is just that good. His staff are also very friendly and approachable. Immediately when you come into the office, you'll see a variety of his certificates on the wall. There is never a wait because they schedule only one patient at a time. You get direct services from the actual dentist and you are his primary focus once you're there. Every time I've gone there, the entire appointment have lasted no more than 45 minutes.

I looked up many well reviewed Dentist's in the SD area, but all of the few reviews I read for Dr. Shah was what made me want to go to him. And I am glad I went with it. He's an up and coming dentist in the area for sure. His professional demeanor, manners and credentials speak for themselves (USC graduate). He was very fair, honest and to the point about his recommendations, his treatment plan and cost. He did the cleaning himself because he cares about the quality of his work that much. I will definitely be going back to him again for my cleanings and other dental needs!

I have to say that Dr. Shah is one of those rare doctors who get to know you and your teeth on a personal level. He and his staff are all very warm and helpful.
He is very precise in his work and is obviously very good at what he does. He gave me the cliffnotes on my teeth as well as how to fix em up. Very reasonable with pricing and won't overcharge.
He doesn't make it seem so much like a chore to go back every six months. I'll be back soon!

Dr. Shah and his team are welcoming, knowledgable, love what they do, and show it by helping people. Within minutes of speaking to Dr. Shah I was comfortable with him performing my dental work. I've had braces twice, thousands of Oral X-Rays, and he made me feel right at home in the chair. Highly recommend his services to anyone who need dental work from an honest Doctor. I'll be back every 6 months hopefully without any more cavities. He also fixed a chipped tooth for me and you can't even tell there was an accident before. Great practice!

Dr. Shah's different from any dentist I've ever visited because he values communication and full disclosure of information. Through his explanations and pictures I've learned so much about the health of my teeth and how to improve. Also, Dr. Shah puts a great deal of meticulous effort into his dental work. I literally just got six cavities filled earlier today and my anesthesia wore off a few hours ago. I don't think I've ever had cavities filled like this before - when I run my tongue over my fillings it's absolutely smooth and slick, and when I bite down it feels exactly the same as before the

The best places to do business are the places where people truly love what they do. There's nothing worse then spending money someplace when people are just going through the motions. Dr. Shah absolutely loves what he does and is a master and a perfectionist at his craft. I went to a wonderful dentist who I trusted for my dental needs for nearly 20 years but he retired. I was faced with the daunting task of finding someone new. Dr. Shah is that replacement.

It's been about 7 years since I've had to have more than a teeth cleaning. When Dr Shah told me I had a cavity I wasn't looking forward to having it fixed. For me, the shot is the worst. To my surprise, this was one of the most pleasant dental experiences I can recall having. With first hand experience I can highly recommend having your smile taken care of at this office.
