Services
A funeral or memorial is a customary way to recognize death and its finality. Funerals are held for the living to show respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grief process. They also give mourners a chance to share stories, create memories, fulfill religious beliefs & customs, participate in a support system, and gather at a peaceful place during a time of confusion and uncertainty.
Holding a funeral or memorial service for your loved one is a positive first step in the grieving process. Family members and friends get a chance to say their goodbyes, and at the same time, they get to share strong feelings with one another. In the days, weeks and months following the service, people continue to need others to lean on for understanding, encouragement and guidance.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of planning ahead has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
The Department of Veterans' Affairs provides information on memorial benefits, health services, life insurance programs and more. The Social Security Administration allows survivors to report the death of the loved. The site also provides information on potential benefits that can be claimed by the survivors.

N J Ford is a nice facility and the staff is nice but the thing I don't like about them is, they said one thing but did another one. Lillian "Baby Sister" Davis was loved by her entire family!! and some of us couldn't attend her service, they were suppose to live stream it to accommodate us who couldn't attend. But they sure didn't! They will NEVER get another family member body if I have a voice about it!!!

My best friend’s father recently passed away, and he was in this funeral homes care. Not only were they extremely cold towards her, but they messed up the death certificate multiple times and acted as if it was her fault for their mistake. She’s had to call them a numerous amount of times to make fixes, and just recently (as of today), she was redirected to change her father’s name on his death certificate (they had spelled it WRONG, which was entirely on them) to a representative, and was hung up on. This funeral home treats the families of the deceased very poorly, and in my personal opinion

They did a wonderful job on my husband, can't take that away from them. But the problem is I have been calling about the death certificate every week sent December 06, 2020. I leave a message for Pamela to give me a call back. up until this day February 05, 2021 she have not return any of my call. I' m been told by the secretary that the doctor have not sign off on the certificate. It have been three month since my husband died someone should have taken the time to give me a call back and let me know what is going on. They have receive all there money and I'm just a person that is call every week
