Sonterra Health Center is a modern, state-of-the-art care center, conveniently located at 18514 Sonterra Place. Our North San Antonio location provides easy access from North Loop 1604 and serves the San Antonio and surrounding areas. We are only a short driving distance to North Central Baptist Hospital and Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.

The Director by the name of Lindsey is very rude and condescending. I called to inquire about maintenance Physical Therapy for my husband. She immediately said he would not receive 5 days a week Therapy in which I had never mentioned any days. The conversation went downhill from then on. Lindsey should receive training in customer service however; empathy isn't a trainable skill.

I could not be happier that my mom came to Sonterra Health Center. She's been there for almost a year now and her overall health and happiness have improved dramatically. She is more social, her health and activity levels have increased and she no longer seems depressed. The front house staff is great. They're always polite and professional as well as personable and welcoming. The CNAs in the 400 hall that care for her on a daily basis are amazing. They are great communicators and are thorough and patient with her, and she has never had a bad thing to say about her treatment there.

I'm ok with my father being there but I do have some concerns. My dads room has not been swept or mopped in a few days.. Administrators please check your cleaning team, food trays look like they have not been sanitized, maybe they forget but that is something that should be done on a regular basis ,also stains on floor, bathroom smells like urine. I hate to write this but I just want to protect our elderly and the sick. Another concern is that dinner is served extremely late for the patients, please look into that administration please. I wanted to rate this place because they tried to tarnish my name and reputation! I work at this for this facility through an agency. Well while working there a young lady only wanted to use me, for the things she didn’t want to do. I did them but was bother because I knew what she was doing. She comes tell to do something at 9 o clock, mind she a cna just like I am. So I ask the nurse do I get the resident up 9. Her response was no get him up by 10. The young comes to at 9:41 and says hay you need to get Mr. So&so up. I kindle ask her to either say excuse me or call me by my name. Calling someone

Staying at Sonterra Health Center was one of the nightmares that I experienced in my life! When I first arrived there, I could barely walk! First of all, the staff was dressed in toga-like uniforms-you don't dress that in a medical facility and the food was lousy! When it was time to exercise, I was picked up from my wheelchair by a waist belt and expected to walk, which I couldn't! One time I was picked up by my belt, dropped and immediately hit my head! I worked here A few years back . And I Could not wait to quit I was on 400 hall. I truthfully I don’t think slavery was this bad. It was me and another CNA and all my residence was bedbound. I use to leave with a sore back every day. No one helped out with nothing. I was constantly on my own with all my bedbound residence. This is somewhere you work when a tow truck is in front of your house. And McDonald’s is not hiring. This is hands-down last Option the bottom of the Nursing feel.

My father was a temporary resident at Sonterra Health Center recovering from surgery. The team was amazing! I have had many experiences at other facilities and this is by far the BEST one I have ever seen. Nurse Tim and Lela are so very knowledgeable and caring. Keep in mind you will never find someone that cares for your loved one like you do. But if you are wanting your family to be attended to and monitored by caring professional this is the place. It is not a fancy place but the people make it beautiful.

I’ve worked with Sonterra Health Center for nearly two years as a CNA. The values held by the company are actually lived by each and every one of their employees everyday! They have managed to foster a truly loving and caring environment for all of their residents at every level of care. Every department from nursing, therapy, and especially their wound care treat the residents as if they were their own family members and stop at nothing to provide the absolute top level of care. This facility has been such a blessing to our family. All the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your loved one is truly taken care of. My family member has been there for 4 months recovering from a stroke and they have provided excellent care and rehabilitation.
