Our establishment was built in 1996 and is the newest funeral home located within Montgomery. Located within the facility is an on-site crematorium which offers our families comfort in knowing that their loved ones stay with us throughout the entire process. We offer numerous options for full traditional funeral services and also a variety of options for cremation services as well.

Services
Southern Memorial offers a wide range of services for both funeral and cremation arrangements. We have four parlors that can be made into two larger parlors when necessary and offer both feminine and masculine decor. Our chapel seats approximately 250 and our lobby and parlors are all connected to the sound system in case additional space is needed for larger services.
At Southern Memorial Funeral Home, we offer a wide variety of service and merchandise options for Traditional Services. Making arrangements for a loved one after their passing is a very difficult task for most families. Our compassionate staff promises to assist you with making your decisions with as little stress as possible.
Cremation is becoming more popular and is expected to increase even more so over the next decade. At Southern Memorial Funeral Home, our families have numerous options available when choosing cremation services. Our crematory is located on-site which offers assurance to our families that their loved one remains in our care throughout the entire process.

I had a family member handled by this home. I was very upset and waited before submitting this review. I worked with Brian, he was rude and very unprofessional, I would NEVER recommend this Funeral Home to ANYONE! If you don't wish to deal with grieving families you really should not be in this business.

Brigid and Bryan were so kind and compassionate that it made a difficult time for my family much easier. Brigid walked us through the process and did exactly what she said she would do. There were no surprises and we so appreciated all the information and help she provided. I would highly recommend Southern Memorial to anyone needing funeral services.
