He found work in the coal mines of Scranton, Pennsylvania. When he had saved enough money to buy a horse and wagon John started a coffee and tea business, delivering a route of nearly fifteen miles. He traveled daily from Scranton's Bellevue section on the West Side to Old Forge and Taylor, and back through Moosic and South Scranton.
We tailor our services to fit your personal needs. A traditional funeral will include preparation, viewing (public or private), religious service and interment. Our services closely adhere to the appropriate customs of all denominations. We also offer cremation options, graveside services, and memorial and celebration of life services.

Neil and his son Branden were comforting and knowledgeable from the time I pre-planned my moms funeral in 2013 until my mom passed away recently. Every detail was meticulously handled from planning 2 viewings in different states to the mass, to the temperature in the funeral home. No concern was to small. They took care of everything. Because of the weather no one came to say the prayer at the end of the viewing and Neil spoke to the family about my mother, and prayed with us. Also, we set up a burial account and Neil told us what to put in. We only had a small amount that wasn’t covered with

We had services here for our mother and for our grandfather. Neil and Brendan truly go above and beyond every step of the way. In the one case, they were willing to drive all the way to NJ for burial services. If you live in NEPA and are debating "which funeral home," I think you will be very satisfied if you choose this one for any services you require. Pricing was fair, as well, which always helps during a hard time. Good job Neil and Brendan - and thank you again.
