Very cool restaurant. The ambience is amazing, I was surprised how big it was. I will note that it was slightly hard to find since it's down an alley. We loved everything that we ordered. My husband and I split the Tuscan chicken stone fired pita, kale and orzo salad and the butternut hummus. I would recommend all of them! The table next to us ordered one of the desserts, I am unsure of the name but it is the cake that catches on fire. It was really big and they had extras so they asked the waitress to cut us a piece, and it was not good at all. It tasted like pure liquor.

Down and tucked in an unassuming alleyway is Yvonne's. Checking in with the hostess, you still don't know what to expect. As she takes you into the lounge, the ambiance, the decor, and atmosphere, are unforgettable. The speakeasy coupled with a supper club vibe puts you at ease. Their food added superfood or some healthy elements to non-ordinary foods to begin with. We're taking about chicken and quinoa meatballs, beets and eggs tater cubes, butternut hummus, the list goes on. You have to go and try it out yourself!

A $100 BARGAIN TO FIND YOU A TABLE?
This was the case tonight with Yvonne's! We have been at the restaurant before, and the food and service were good, however if we wanted to get in tonight the host at the door requested a $100 in order to seat a party of 2.

The king trumpet mushrooms and crispy cauliflower are to die for!! I’m still thinking about how delicious they were! The La Bete Noire was also so amazing! There are so many layers and textures, such a great dessert! The rest of the food was also quite delicious and the vibes of the place are so unique.

I always love coming to Yvonne's for drinks and small plates! For food, I definitely recommend the Buvette steak and the tater cubes.
For drinks, you can't really go wrong with any of their offerings! Yvonne's drink menu is seasonal and changes frequently so you're never bored when making a repeat visit. With a group of 2-4, the tea for 2 drinks are great and each person can get about 1-3 glasses which is great value. I am looking forward to go back to try their large format drinks for 4+ which would be great for a birthday!

I came here for dinner last Saturday night. I wasn't able to get a reservation ahead of time so we showed up at 7pm just in case and hey had a table for us. We sat in the library room which I loved. The paintings were fun, historical figures with a twist. The room was open to a bar which had a bunch of people drinking at so it was a fun sexy atmosphere. They have another dining room and bar with a bunch of chandeliers and then a lounge are in between the 2 dining room.
For cocktails, the Rose Thorn was sour and the Rubicon was smokey.

I stumbled across this establishment while trying to figure out where to have a nice dinner with my husband for our East Coast Honeymoon. It was actually a place I found through a Youtuber who featured this place while doing a video on her recent visit to Boston.
I was please to know I could make reservations during our trip and was super excited to see what this place is all about.

As a fan of the speakeasy concept, I had a great time at Yvonne's. The fact that it's down an ally and very unassuming from the outside makes this place seem incredibly exclusive. I'm not from Boston so I'm unaware what the local perception of Yvonne's may be. However, it was special for me. The craft cocktails and atmosphere mean you're going to spend $$$ so be prepared. Just don't let that deter you from this experience. If you can find this gem, you will definitely have a great time!

As I arrived there was a line of maybe 15 people outside probably waiting for the lounge area? We walked right past them, went inside, and were seated within 2 minutes.

I am obsessed LOL i came here three times in the two weeks since I first found this spot. Vibes are perfection. Dark, intimate, but fun. I've sat at both the lounge area and the restaurant portion, and I definitely prefer the lounge.

Everytime I visit Boston, I always love coming to Yvonne's. Love the trendy vibe with lots of great artwork and lighting too! Great atmosphere and great service as well. If you don't have a reservation, you can always get drinks at the bar and stand at the communal table. You will not be disappointed!

Yvonne's is a super Instagrammable place to go and eat. The ambience gives me a vibe of a sophisticated, "underground" speakeasy club from the Roaring 1920s. The concept is really cool and was the primary reason for taking my girlfriend out on a date to this location during a trip to Boston. The entire restaurant is incredibly beautiful inside and no detail is spared. Aesthetically, this place is amazing!
However, the food is simply okay. The presentation is amazing, but the food did not "wow" me. The prices are expensive for the small plates that are on offer.

One of our favorite place in the downtown Boston areas. See my pictures for recommendations. The food/tapas here is actually very good and would not have expected from this little known hidden place. Nevertheless, we're surely glad we've found it!
What else, I would say, I like their bar and lounge area. I think they can expand their lounge area more often to accommodate those waiting for a seat.

Words are unable to properly describe the unique Bostonian energy this bar offers. A truly beautiful experience with a rich history and exquisite drinks. No matter where you’re staying in Boston…this is something you don’t want to miss!!! Walk, drive, Uber, Lift, or take a train but don’t skip out on visiting Yvonne’s! Love Yvonne's Boston. This is a trendy, dressy upscale spot with small plates. I love their food options here because they're not exactly just one cuisine - it's a true American cuisine in my opinion, since it has so many influences from other cultures, just like America. Influences include but are not exhaustive of East Asian, Indian, and European inspirations for their dishes! Love a good fusion. The ambiance here is perfect and make sure to book reservations at least 3 weeks in advance to get a good dinner time, this place is popular!

Made reservations weeks in advance as walk-ins are highly unlikely due to their ever increasing demand. We were seated punctually for our 7:15 reservations as a birthday celebration which wasn't indicated during the dinner. I'm not sure if my server didn't see or if it was too busy to do anything for it.
For drinks, my friend got the passion fruit mule while I had the third date. Both drinks were pleasant and easy to drink. We also had the Harley Quinn which was served in a luxurious gold embroidered tea set.

Super cool speakeasy style restaurant. There are a couple of different themed rooms and we were lucky enough to sit in the library. From photos I thought the books were fake but they are definitely real and they even bring your check to you in an actual book which is a cute touch. The drinks were different and tasty and the food, while small portions, were just what we were looking for so we could try a few different things. Everything we had was very good!

Overall it was fine, but the cocktail was so so. One waiter just came to our desk and started cleaning our table without asking or notice. We hadn't ask for the check and even had food in our dishes. We were still chatting. If we didn't ask, he didn't even know we wanted to pack our food. We believe it was a signal to get us out. How rude it was.

Had a really great experience dining at Yvonne’s. Definitely has a speakeasy vibe and I loved it. Great decor and tasty food. The service was great too! The dishes were small but great for sharing. My friends and I ordered a few dishes, as well as the large cocktail to share. The room we were in was quite dark but it was an interesting experience. There was no service inside but we didn’t have an issue with that. It allows for better socializing rather than being on your phones.

Unique and delicious! I’ve never been a restaurant like Yvonne’s - it’s got speakeasy vibes, feels very high end, and has delicious food. This is my favorite spot to celebration special occasions. If you plan well in advance (and probably pay a lot of money) you can make a reservation for the tables behind the secret bookshelf door. Don’t forget to dress fancy and order some fantastic cocktails!

Hands down the BEST restaurant in Boston overall!!! Went to celebrate our anniversary and couldn't have asked for anything better. Great ambience for a romantic dinner. They had another area for people looking for a more casual yet classy vibe. The bar area also looked great for drinks and finger food. After all of that, the highlight was the food both in terms of presentation and more importantly, taste. Every dish was innovative and fusion of cuisines in the true sense. Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. The tapas style concept also works great for the dishes and let's you try a number
