My 20 year background in teaching, along with the years working at the county jail and a shelter for abused women and children, have provided a wealth of counseling experiences. Specific focuses include trauma, child-abuse, addiction, neglect, relationship challenges, and stigmas associated with gender dysphoria.
My personal experience working in education, private practice, and background with the Autism Spectrum Community, has led to a passion to help others like myself. Identifying and developing individual strengths contribute to increased self-esteem, positive inner dialogue, and improved behavioral interactions.
