Hendrigo Costa is grounded in the science of Behavioral Change, Strength Conditioning, & Basic Nutrition. Hendrigo's first contact with weights began when he was 17 years old. By the time he was 21, he discovered and became obsessed with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He realized that strength and technique made him a greater athlete to win local championships.
However, his defeats forced him to work harder while keeping a positive mindset during adversities. In 2005, he started his personal training career with a solid background, but he comprehended it wasn't enough. He also understood the importance of developing his education through highly respected certificates, workshops and books would shape him to be a better professional.

I retired about a year ago. My 1st priority was to improve my health and fitness as I progressed to my golden years. I was so blessed to find HMC fitness. Drigo custom tailored a program for me that worked on strengthening my core muscles to improve my balance as I walked, bent or went about my daily activities. I've been training with Hendrigo for the last several months and have noticed significant improvements in my strength, flexibility and endurance. I'm in my early 50's so Hendrigo designs the workouts, and guidance around nutrition, for my age and body type. He's a very patient trainer, as well as very thoughtful and very knowledgeable. Working with him one-on-one I'm able to ask a lot of questions — from what type of foods to eat after the workout, to what type of muscle groups are we working and why. I've been active all my life, playing soccer and tennis competitively, skiing, running, hiking, and generally exploring the great outdoors. But when it came to the gym and working out, I always struggled to stay committed and as a result battled injuries frequently. Hendrigo has been my trainer for a year and a half and his fitness knowledge and experience keep me coming back.
