The purpose of the Cremation Society was to make cremation an economical, dignified, and readily available alternative. Information, costs, and pre-arrangements are offered in a simple, straightforward manner. The Cremation Society continues its long-standing purpose and commitment to central Oklahoma's families by providing all aspects of the complete cremation service for more than 34 years now.

Our funeral home was established in 1942 as Sherman Funeral Home. In 1970, it was bought by the Demuth Family, who are still the current owners. This funeral home is rich with history and has been dedicated to serving the Oklahoma City community since it was established. Simple direct cremation without any funeral or viewing of the body.

This charge includes: basic services for funeral director and staff for cremation; transfer of deceased to funeral home within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3 per mile, one way, is added); use of facilities for refrigeration of unembalmed remains (up to 72 hours); Medical Examiner cremation permit fee of $200; use of crematory facilities to perform cremation; cremation alternative container; and temporary cremated remains container.

A. The Cremation Society is notified immediately at the time of death. The body is then transported to the Demuth Funeral Home & Cremation Society's office and crematory facility where it is held until the death certificate and cremation permit can be issued by the State Medical Examiner's Office and the body is then cremated.

The staff was rude when my mother was creamated there....did not like the expierence as it was, then had rude staff
