Called too speak to someone about Cremation services and was greeted by Savanna. She was extremely helpful in laying out all their companies services to me. I thought it would be stressful given that this is the first death I had to plan for on my own, but she set the visit date and walked me through my options and also gave alternate options that were suitable for what I was trying to do. This place is absolutely awful!! My cousin lost her husband and father of their 12 year old daughter. These people should not be in the funeral business. With the first phone call they seemed to be helpful, they discussed embalming for a viewing, my cousin explained thoroughly that she did not want to do this unless her 12 year old daughter wished to see her Dad before cremation. They told her that it was fine she was undecided, they could discuss and make that decision at their in person meeting. Our mom passed away September/2020. Dad had purchased their package years ago, we decided not to use the Memorial portion that had been prepaid for. When dad went to sign pprwrk he let Savanna know. She redid his contract taking this out. She told dad his refund would be $575. Dad had planned to donate this to the church that allowed us to have Memorial at no cost. The actual refund was only $375. What is most upsetting was that none of us received any explanation or apology for the mistake. This was most upsetting due to what we hd planned to gift Church and felt it was extremely unprofessional

Worst experience ever! Customer service after they received payment was nonexistent. Richard, Lyell and Dawn provided terrible customer service during this time of grief for our family. Once we signed the contract and paid in full, our expectations of Affordable Cremation Services was to handle everything from cremation to processing all paperwork for the death certification. While price was reasonable, customer service and compassion were lacking. My father passed away Nov 30, 2018. I just received the amended death certificates Feb 28, 2019. Affordable Cremation Services did not bother to check

My father passed in November 24, 2018. My mother ordered numerous keepsakes one of which was an engraved fingerprint keychain. It finally arrived today 2-23-19.. My mother had called several times n her calls were not promptly returned. And then she was lied to about when it finally shipped. It was very upsetting , bad enough losing a loved one. But having to wait for that last little heartfelt keepsake was very upsetting. It arrived today and brought me to tears. I sincerely hope noone goes through what we did. I would not recommend them.

The professionalism and caring service I received while trying to navigate the process of planning my dad's cremation was stellar. The entire staff was so helpful. They were very clear on how long the cremation process takes and everything was ready exactly when they said it would be. They even prepared the funeral handouts for the service I was having somewhere else. I cannot thank them enough for their help.

Richard and the folks at Affordable Cremation Service were a blessing. I was nowhere near prepared when my father died at the v.a. I ended up being rushed by the VA to send him to a funeral home and I didn't have one prepared but my brother knew of one in midwest city that we sent him to. the VA paid to have him moved to that funeral home and I later found out they wanted $1700 just for cremation. I looked around and found Richard at affordable, he gave me a few options that would fit our budget at the time so we went with him and called the funeral home that my father was sent to, to let them

What started out to be a great experience turned out to be a game of waiting and not knowing. Richard was great when I came in to take care of arrangements for my partner. Everything went smoothly, and paid in full. A little bit of other paperwork needed to be done which was fine. Days went by with no call, and I contacted Richard and was told that his Brother would have to sign papers as being his legal guardian. No problem. Another couple of days went by, and nothing. I had his Brother call to find out what the hold up was. Papers were then sent for his Brother to sign. Next step should be cremation

This place has been nothing short of awful! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Richard was the person assigned to help us and he was rude to my Grandmother and myself. He has made constant excuses for his mistakes. He didnt even get the flag for my Grandfathers honor guard like he was supposed to and because he didn't send the picture I sent to him on Nov. 21 and have a read receipt on, we did not receive our memory necklaces. It may be affordable but you get what you pay for. Awful! Horrible! DO NOT USE!

Was a very clean facility and had many choices for my Moms cremation. I am not sure what to look for when visiting some place like this so I hope I am giving details to help someone. Make sure what will be on the death certificate when you go and understand who and what is presented. Make sure you see all documents that will be given to Vital Records. There is no high pressure sales at all. They did hold my moms body for sometime so I deeply appreciated that from them. I purchased two pieces of jewelry with my moms ashes and they did a good job. We lost our stillborn baby at only 10 weeks 6 days gestation so we decided to do a cremation. Richard was great. He was sweet and sympathetic. Dawn, however, was extremely rude and so unsympathetic that it was sickening for us. It took an entire week longer to get our baby's cremains back than what we were promised and every time we called, Dawn was rude and we could never get a call back from anyone that promised to check into the situation and get back to us.
