Horrible funeral service for people of Buddhist faith. I blame their business hour of operations and cremation operations not aligning to our needs in the Buddhist traditions. I let the Laotian community leaders plan this one, but I had Spring Hill Funeral in mind which has better operations hours. They have more experience with Buddhist custom and understand the strong need for funeral service and cremation to be on the same day. This made things difficult for my family.

When my father passed late May of 2020, they were able to get my dad’s body the same day he passed, which was a huge relief. Even better that they didn’t charge us while we were in quarantine, and very understanding, patient, and kind to us. Never rushed us into making any decisions, never interrupted, I mean they even speak physically soft to you. These people were great/amazing. I know when Someone passes it’s not always a fond moment but they made funeral so easy going and not stressful at all. THANK YOU Kathy, Melissa, and Stephanie and the rest of their team. You guys are awesome!!!

I recently lost a loved one and live 14 hours from Tennessee, I called Ellis funeral home for assistance and was greeted by Mellisa. She helped me from the beginning to the end of the process and was super polite and professional. I can not say one bad thing about this company. I would highly recommend them. Thank you again Melissa for all you do.

Worst experience ever. I had my father transferred here after passing for the funeral. They did the worst embalming job I have ever seen in my life. His neck looked like it had been stretched out to 3 times the normal size. We had him transferred to another facility and they start calling me telling me I owe them almost $1,500 when there is no way on earth I would ever pay them a dollar for what they did. I wasn't even going to write a negative review since I understand mistakes happen and as a business owner myself I own up to my mistakes. Then they file a lawsuit. Now I am not holding back. If

If I ever saw you again it would be too soon, but on the same token I know my family and I would be well taken care of. Really down to earth group of caring and compassionate staff. Their assistance along the way is very relaxed and reassuring. Going beyond expectations, they were taking calls outside of normal business hours and during the weekend. I have to shout out Virginia for being an absolute peach and deligent aid during the time of bereavement. Nashville is blessed to have a team like this ready, willing and able to make these see you later services as stress free as possible. LOOK NO
