Services
Mortuary Associates was designed to provide autopsy assistance and morgue direction services on a contract basis to hospitals in the greater Nashville area. It is an effort that grew out of an idea that Chuck Crawford had while working at the General Hospital in the pathology department during his time in Mortuary College.
Payment with assignment of a valid, verified insurance policy. We do not except policies that cannot be verified, insurance policies under 2 years old which are contestable, or any work-related insurance that cannot be assigned. On a case by case basis, we may honor a prearranged funeral plan written at another funeral home.

On July 11, I was unfortunately given the task of final arrangements for my Mother’s body who had been killed in a MVA when a speeding motorcycle crashed onto her car. My momma passed away 3yrs ago this April and she left instructions to be cremated she lived on $1,400 a month widows pension and the state wouldnt do it cause the income limit is $1,100 so I starting calling around and come in contact with Chuck and he told me $1,800 to cremate her I told him I couldn't afford that so he gave me a # to a place that would do it for $900 then right before I hung up he said you know what ma'am I'll do it for $900 and I said ok so he gave me a $1,000 discount. Him and his wife were truly amazing during the worst moment in my entire life and made it a little easier

My little sister unfortunately passed last fall, and Heide and Chuck were so wonderful and caring. The best part about them was that they were so open to us- and they provided me with an experience that I know not everyone would have. I think of them often, which is what brought me here 9 months later to write a review. Very grateful for them.
