Update - December 2021: The chef changed. The flavor and sauce taste different. Even the rice taste different. The sauce and flavor taste bland. The rice is sometimes really mushy (too much water). Really not as good as before, super disappointed. The staff is still friendly....just the food is not so good.

They raised the price!!!
I understand everything it's getting expensive, but common don't try to get advantage of this situation. I better decide cook my own now and also, they don't pay attention to orders because they are talking between them all the time. Do they apologize??? Noooo they just rude saying you never ask for this. You guys lost a customer

Worse customer service ever The lady as the cashier with glasses has a really bad Attitude charged 20 dollars for 2 orders and one soda extremely rude threw the card at me. What kind of customer service does this restaurant have? I went back to order one more order payed with my card and once again she threw it at me in front of everyone.

Do not go to Herndon location!!
I've always loved China King. Fast, fresh, affordable, and that was the Fairfax Corner location and will sti go there when in town. Recently moved to Reston and ordered from the Herndon location off sunrise valley dr. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and shrimp fried rice.
The porrions were definitely smaller than the Fairfax location, but The shrimp in both was soft and mushy and had a faint chemical taste . I called to ask why i was given rotten or tainted shrimp amd the manager tells me nobody else complained. Not that it was a mistake or that she will check. I

This is the one of the very few Chinese restaurants i like to dine into....It thankfully doesn’t have that stench that always makes me puke when ever i enter any Chinese restaurant....the place is clean and they provide a very large meal for the price they charge it’s value for money....once me and my husband went there a little early in the morning and decided to wait in the car cuz it opens at 11:00 am believe it or not i saw so many people waiting outside the restaurant....it’s definitely worth the hype must try it once
