I have been going to sessions at UpFit since November and in just under 3 months I can already feel slight differences and improvements in my strength and stamina. The small group trainings are the perfect combination of 1:1 attention from trainers and a fitness class setting. You get a tailored experience for your specific goals, so while you're not doing the same workout as the person next to you, everyone is positive and encouraging to help you push yourself. Great quality workouts that are customized to your needs. Although the classes are in group setting, you will get plenty of personalized attention from expert coaches who will guide you through the workout. If you’re in need of a lifestyle reboot this is the place for you! I was at rock bottom, contemplating surgery, when I came across UpFit Academy and joining, truly has been one of the best decisions of my life. Game changer. Training with them for a year. Wes, Paul, and the team they’ve assembled are on point and on the ball, everyday. They are technique focused and make sure you are building to more advanced moves only after acquiring mastery of easier moves. As a result I’ve never been injured there and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. Highly recommend if you want a fun and intense place to work out.

I highly encourage UpFit for those looking for a customized workout that is flexible in schedule and helps keep you motivated! I’ve frequently gone through cycles of going to the gym for a short burst of time and then inconsistently going and working out from losing motivation after few weeks. The people (trainers and others who workout) give such a positive and encouraging energy. The trainers at UpFit really focus on form and building a foundation, which I didnt really have as a beginner.

Upfit is great place to train, especially if you are looking for affordable personal training (class usually in groups of 4 with all following their own personally tailored programs). I have found the classes to be very motivating and they make sure you are in a pool of sweat by the end of it! I love all the trainers: Reg, Paul and Brian are all awesome (haven’t trained with others). Highly highly recommend!!!

I moved to NY this year and I've been going to UpFit for four months. I would definitely say I am seeing great results and progress in my strength, form and overall physique since joining. I've definitely lost the pandemic weight and started to gain more muscle mass as I've progressed through the months of working out at UpFit.

I loved my experience at UpFit Academy, everyone was kind and all the trainers were professional and helpful. The establishment was always clean and neat. Initially joined because I needed a little push to start a healthier lifestyle and I got what I needed from them. I have more energy, more stamina, more endurance, and I was educated about what I should do more and do less. If you’re looking for a sign to start with them, here it is! I highly recommend!!!

I have been going to UpFit for well over 2 years now. I started going because they were across the street from where I used to live. Now that I live on the opposite side of town, I actually still go twice a week, walk an hour there and back or take the subway. That's how into them I am! I have worked with many trainers at places like Equinox and other similar gyms and have never had this level of excellence. This week marks 3 months of training for me at Upfit, and I’ve never felt better! The classes are group sessions but the programs are designed and structured to meet my own personal needs. UpFit Training Academy is life changing. Until 6 weeks ago I hated gyms and never was able to commit. But Wes and Paul were able to make me love to exercise. I lost several inches in 6 weeks and I got so much stronger. The workout is amazing. You have individual attention so you never make a wrong move. You can feel your body transforming. Love Upfit Academy! Paul and Westley are really dedicated trainers and really care about catering a specific program for each client so even though they're small group classes it basically feels like a personal training session. Classes were between 1-4 people when I was taking and it never felt crowded. Nice new studio with new equipment and shower facilities.

The instructors here are so knowledgeable, they can spot these minute, almost invisible details in your form, and give you tips on doing it more efficiently. I was blown away when I was told to bridge differently by activating certain muscles, and I was able to feel the increase in power immediately. The instructors are very mindful of all the members forms during each movement, and that is super helpful.

Wes is one of two UpFit Training Academy founders. I've known Wes for almost 9 years now - he is the best trainer I know. If you are serious about your fitness goals, he is someone who will take you seriously too.

Wes is really one of the best trainers out there. I've been training with him for the last 7 months and I'm extremely happy with the progress and results. He has amazing energy, he makes the workouts really fun and challenging and he'll push you to your limits. He's very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness and nutrition as well. He'll know exactly how to modify the workouts in case of injury etc. I had really bad eating habits and I'm a super picky eater and he somehow managed to get me to eat better. Not to mention I felt like with other trainers I was just going through the reps and the same motions. But with Paul it was always something new, more challenging and more interesting. Wes is one of the most knowledgeable and creative trainers with whom I have ever worked. As someone currently working in the Health Profession, I have met many trainers who can craft a good workout but lack a thorough understanding of body bio mechanics and what to do if your client has anatomical restrictions. Wes noticed my ROM issues right away and had no problem working with them.

Paul park was my personal trainer from 2009, I've been hooked on exercising and weight lifting ever since. He is extremely knowledgeable about weight lifting, dieting and overall health. He is into basic fundamentals and fine details of weight lifting. I've personally learned a lot from him and kept me motivated til this day. I strongly encourage anyone who wants to be more fit, more agile, and healthy to get with Paul and start working your butt off.
