Cristy Pareti Psyd LMFT
When you raise your self-awareness, you can transform yourself and your relationships to the level you have always desired. We will look below the surface to help you find patterns that may be contributing to a more stressful life; where anxiety, lack of motivation, or depression may come and go, or stay too long.

On this journey, we will discover new ways of challenging those old patterns with a renewed sense of empowered awareness to increase your overall sense of well-being. Therapy can be challenging, but together we can work through stubborn anxieties or hopeless feelings, distressed relationships, loss, or family and parenting challenges.

You find yourself asking this question over and over again. You know something is preventing real change, but you can't quite figure out what it is and how to get it out of your way. You are here, and in many ways are open for its reveal. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (LMFT #47538).
You are the expert on you. Psychotherapy can boost your understanding of what may be getting in the way and help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself so you can clearly identify your needs, set attainable personal goals, and get relief from unwanted symptoms.

You may be one who finds that you present really well and can seem completely put together when you need to be, but underneath there's a sense of uncertainty, a vague sense of loneliness, or hurt. You've gotten really good at pushing those feelings away so that you can carry on with your usual required presence, but those thoughts and uneasy feelings of something feeling "off" linger in the background.
So often, couples are in distress after repeated situations of not really hearing or listening to one another. Often times we think of ourselves as better listeners than we really are. Yet, our efforts at truly listening are compromised at times we don't often realize. By the same token, our right to be heard is often violated in small ways by our partner.
Teens have a lot they need to talk about and I love connecting with them to help them do just that. They are dealing with a number of different struggles, including anxiety, school, grades, preparing for college, trauma, fighting with friends, dating, arguing with family, depression, trauma, sexual orientation, gender identity, bullying and more.
Also called psychological assessment, psychological testing is a foundation for how skilled professionals, usually psychologists, can better understand a person's thinking, learning and behavior. Testing and assessment can help clarify a diagnosis and help inform a treatment plan. A psychological test is both standardized and an objective measure of human behavior where responses are analyzed according to a universal standard.
