Services
Our funeral home was founded in 1954 by William and Florence Stemm Sr. on Division Street in historic downtown Elkhart. The funeral home was operated from that location until 2003 when owners Vic Lawson and Steve Peterson saw the need to expand their facilities to accommodate the growing needs of the community.
We feel a genuine and abiding compassion for each and every client we serve who is experiencing such a personal loss and grief. At such a time, you should not be worried about details and coordination. On your behalf, we take care of everything according to your wishes. From coordinating the most appropriate overall service, to making sure the flowers are delivered to the graveside.

Our new facility was designed and furnished with great consideration, including homelike family spaces, a graciously proportioned chapel, and special areas for you to confer privately with your minister or faith counselor. Even our convenient and plentiful parking was designed to alleviate one more potential concern.
