We are all imperfect people living in an imperfect world. Life can hold many challenges. But you don't have to face them alone. Many people feel ashamed to admit they are struggling in life and and are hesitant to reach out for help. Yet when they finally take that step to find help, they find the support they've been needing and are relieved.

It is my desire to walk side by side with my clients as they face life's struggles so they don't feel alone in their pain. I want to offer you hope for a better life. You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will find the hope and healing you have been searching for.
Services
I have a license in Tennessee in Professional Counseling, as well as a license in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. My graduate education was rooted in a family systems approach with a later focus on Christian Counseling.
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things in a different, healthier way.
I do not currently take insurance but can provide a receipt for clients to submit to insurance companies as an out of network provider. I recommend calling your insurance provider to ask if they will reimburse for a out of network counselor. Often they will apply the amount you paid for the session to your out of network deductible.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
