This salon does braids, twists, press straightening, heat curling, and haircuts. They retwist and style locs but I'm not sure if they start locs.
This is the best place to get braids for small children who don't want to sit still or can't handle tight braids. I don't know how they're able to do the braids tight enough to look great and not come loose, but not so tight that kids are trying to break free. They have tablets to keep the kids distracted from what's happening to their heads.

I booked appointment online and received several confirmations via email and text. The day before appointment I receive a call saying it was a glitch in system and my appointment was double book. They canceled my appointment. Not to mention the last time my daughter went she said the two stylist talked about the customers. They need to train their staff, children have ears and can comprehend.

We have visited this salon twice in two different locations. The location in Smyrna was great experience but the location in Atlanta was terrible. We went here expecting the same experience. My daughter is very tendered headed in which we warned the manager before the appointment was set. But clearly the young ladies who did my daughter hair don't need to working with children. Their tone speaking to my daughter was unacceptable. My mother ended the appointment and she finished my daughter hair on her own. We paid and left . We will not be returning and will not recommend anyone to go.

I have used this business before and the only thin I don't like about it is that they do the kids hair in big braids that doesn't last no more that 2 weeks. I normally do my child's hair considering I will last her for at least the a month. I will use them again. It wasn't a bad experience but my expectations are high when I can braid my own child hair. I just wish it would last longer than 1 1/2weeks. Will be venturing out to find others. Below im attaching a photo of my own personal work so u can see the difference. The best salon in the world I love love this salon. The prices are favorable there quick efficient and you get a shampoo and conditioner with every style. They have weekly and monthly specials with 3 locations for your convenience.

I took my Neice her to get her hair braided and they did a great job. She is very tender headed and she didn't cry one bit.

I called to make an appointment, they were booked but got me in the next morning. Salon was very cute. Staff was nice and very sweet to my Neice. She is walking around acting like a little Diva now that her hair is done.

I am a former employee of Just 4 Girls Atlanta. If you are considering this salon for you child or if you are currently a client of this salon.....PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE REVIEW!
I started at this salon in March and immediately realized that hair isn't actually amazing here as their tagline would suggest. On several occasions I have personally witnessed children being shampooed in dirty sinks and serviced with dirty tools because the salon did not have disinfectant and barbicide for cleaning which is mandatory per GA State Board. Choose your stylist carefully and have an in depth conversation about your expectations or needs. Some stylists are very knowledgeable and others not so much. The positive is that management tries to respond and resolve issues in a timely manner (ie scheduling conflicts and unpleasant hair styles (light press gone bad)).

This is for the norcross location. I emailed on a friday evening for an appt for the next day today which is saturday. I received a vm at 857 advising they had a few openings 1230,230,445 and 5. I called back immediately ..no answer. I have to reiterate I have called and called in the past and always got a vm. So I left a vm to confirm a callback as I wanted the 1230 spot. An hr passes and no one calls me back eventhough the lady ont he vm said she would respond to my email as well. I called and the lady Miriam advises me there are no bookings. Srsly??? Incompetent and disorganized. You dont answer

Don't waste your time with the Smyrna location! The braiders are inconsistent...scheduling is a waste of time...and customer service leaves a lot to be desired! If you have time to waste and extreme patience you MAY have a good experience. The concept is great and I can't deny their work; however, they lack the dependability that busy moms need! I have tried several times over the last 2 years...but after several misscheduled and cancelled appts, over 4 hours to do a 4 year old's simple hairstyle, and rude schedulers... I will NEVER try again! Another location may be better...

First off, I would like to say the concept is a great idea but you have to value your customers and based on my experience I don't feel like that's the case.
Not once but twice in a 3 week period I've had an issue with my daughters appointment time.
The first time I called the Norcross location and scheduled her appt, the employee gave me one time but when she scheduled it, she emailed/text me a different time. Unbeknownst to me of the time change, I show up at the time she verbally gave me. Long story short, I couldn't prove the time, so I let it slide. They washed my daughters

I had a horrible experience with the "manager on duty" at the Smyrna location. She was sarcastic when I called to share some concerns regarding recent changes/observations within the salon. I asked to speak with the owner once it became obvious that I was wasting my time with the manager. I was told that I couldn't speak to the owner because she was the manager. How is it possible for you to help me when you place me on hold to share what I've told you with the stylists in the salon and I hear them laughing when you return to the call? Additionally, when did it become acceptable

This salon is amazing! I've been to the Smyrna location a couple of times now and have referred others, and our little girls' hair always looks beautiful. The stylists do a great job with littles--my daughter is 3. Quinn is very gentle with my daughter's hair and doesn't braid/twist too tightly. Everyone is very friendly and any concerns that are voiced are taken seriously. I have nothing but praise to give this salon. I also love the fact that we are in and out in 2 hours. Make sure you book your next appointment before you leave the salon, because slots book quickly!

I have been using this salon on and off for the past 6 years. I used to take my oldest daughter there when they only had one shop in Fayetteville.
For the past year or two, my youngest daughter (6), has gone to the Smyrna salon.
We always booked our appointments a head of time. We get there on time for EVERY APPOINTMENT but the stylist is never ready. We have to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes to be seen.

Today was the last straw. I booked my daughters appointment for a trim online Tuesday. I was not able to select a shampoo and blow

First, I'm going to start with the good, as I like this place and I like the concept.

The Good
- I have been pleased with the styling of my daughter's hair. The outcome is solid and the style is lasting. She is always excited about going.
- The look and feel of the salon is A-OK. It's not luxurious, but it is clean, decorated tastefully, and it looks like staff takes care to keep the floors swept and trash emptied.
- The prices are reasonable given the product and service.
- The receptionist is pleasant and professional. I assume she is the person who calls to confirm appointments

I have taken my daughter to 3 appointments. The first two times were completed by Alisha. My 2 year olds hair was very neat and fresh looking. The last time appointment, which was for her birthday party, her hair look old and like she got it done last week. I was so dissatisfied and I called to let the owner know. I left my number several time because I wanted to send her pictures. She never returned my call. I told the receptionist I don't want a free hair style or anything in return. They offered for her to come on the same day, but her party was a couple of hours late and I didn't

My daughter was a client at the shop for over 2 yrs. In the beginning I was always pleased with their services & my daughters hair. However my last 2 visits were terrible! When we arrived we were not greeted by anyone, which to me is very unpleasant. The girl who was braiding my daughters hair spent more time talking then braiding which caused us to be there for 3 hrs very annoying. The last time we had an appt. I was called to see if I could bring my daughter @ 4:30 instead of 6. I left work early to bring her only to sit for 2 hours. The girl braiding her hair said she had a late client

I am so pleased at the services I received here. The shop is small but the expertise and professionalism here is outstanding. There's a small play area for the girls to play at. We made an appointment for as soon as they open which was 9 am and when they open they got started on my daughter's hair right away. I felt comfortable enough to leave her there to run some errands. 45 min after I had left they receptionist called me and said my daughter's hair had been completed. I will definitely be taking my daughter back to get her hair done again.
