Can only give a review based on the way the solicit business, considering we have never employed them for insurance services.
Lying to the office staff of the business you're soliciting is a sure-fire way to not instill a great reputation with someone you're attempting to quote/sign on for benefits. Not all businesses function the same way, and perhaps the person answering the phone of the office you're calling is more involved in the owner's phone calls, daily appointments and business decisions than you're aware - putting a negative and dishonest front to them is unproductive of everyone's time

The Owner, Rob K, has no business selling insurance. He doesn’t care about you as an account. He will not keep you up to date on changing policies and procedures, and then when you email him to ask for better service, he wont even reply. It’s clear he views his insurance business as an annuity and hopes his clients won’t realize how much better service they could be getting through another broker.
The short story is our company started using Rob K roughly twenty years ago. When I joined the company seven years ago, there were five of us. Fast forward to roughly six months ago and our company

Every time I have a question about our office health insurance plan I turn to Bay Area Benefits. And let's face it: I love asking questions!
"How much would it cost to add my husband to my plan?" "Our office's monthly bill has not shown up; what should I do?" "Is maternity care covered under my plan?" I'm incredibly lucky that my employer provides great health coverage (a platinum package that employees don't pay anything for!) and even more fortunate that when I have a question, I can turn to Bay Area Benefits for answers. Their customer care is outstanding! My boss also deals directly
