I have been staying in Royal Crest for over 3 years now, while it feels good to stay here with nice surrounding, amenities, there are too many issues that you will need to face and really frustrating.
1) Royal Crest is owned and managed by Amco, which means they are only looking for profits and hence they will look to loot your many in different ways, rent, car parking, pet charges blah blah...
2) Community in Marlborough MA is wooden apartments, this means you can not freely walk in your apartments if you are renting 1 or 2 nd floor apartments. Normal walking also makes noise and if you have

I have been living in Royal Crest Apartments since 2019, and i must say that these are the best apartments i have lived in so far.
The community people are friendly and respectful.
The maintenance staff are outstanding, always a call away and attend to our maintenance services problems on timely manner.
The grounds are well taken care off, and are always looking beautiful, making us feel at home and secure.
The Security has really improved and no longer have or hear issues of unknown people vandalizing our cars.
The leasing office staff are the best people. They have great communication skills

Before I moved in last August, I noticed there were appearing to be water bubbles on the ceiling in the kitchen area. I requested a service right after I moved in but no one came. Since the bubbles never bursted so I didn't bother to repeat the service request. Until a month ago, the bubbles started to burst and paint started to fall down. I put in a service request again. A few days later a person came in to take a picture then left. It has been ten days since then and no one ever came or contact me for any update. The paint has been falling so bad that I have to sweep it away multiple times

Manager should get trained atleast basics like what’s is customer service She doesn’t know even how to talk with customer. I don’t know who made her manager. She doesn’t seem to be manager she should be somewhere in inappropriate service.

Since day one, going to the leasing office with a friend that referred me to Royal Crest, the process was super easy and fast. Tyler helped us with everything and was so nice and welcoming. We got approved right away, and he explained everything we needed to know before moving in. Im loving my new apartment. Its beautiful and clean, and very spacious. We are super happy.

This place gets worst and worst, the parking lot is accident prone, there needs to be more stop signs and regulations since everyone drives like they don't have a license. There needs to be security cameras set up everywhere. This place is just not safe at all.

Quite and clean grounds, there is min-gym and large pool. Shopping plaza nearby. Buildings and apartments are a bit old but in good shape. Staff is helpful, maintenance requests are completed timely and efficiently. Overall we had pleasant experience living in Royal Crest apartments.

Where do I begin? I've lived here since early 2018 and, as a person who does not write reviews (much less complaints), I cannot stress strongly enough to prospective residents to avoid this place like the plague. So what's the problem? They will woo you with cut-rate rents, then eventually raise your rent for a 600 sq foot unit to $1600 a month. Think about that. No dish washer in a unit this small, and as a person with a modest income, child support and post-divorce bills, $1600 a month for a place that does not offer income assistance is a bit insane. But we all do what we can right

Be careful! If there is black ice on the stairs or walkway and it has not been treated by the maintenance service, and you slip, fall and break your shoulder, you are responsible. It is no one's fault but your own. Recent court decision has now set precedence.

I have lived here for over a year, I dont understand why anyone would give a bad review. The maintenance is amazing, I have requested a few things in the apartment to be fixed and it was done immediately. Everyone is very kind and respectful. The buildings are quiet and the grounds are beautifully kept. The only thing I would complain about is the luxerone package pick up, while I heard people like it, for me it is a pain since I order a lot of online products and have to drive to the building everyday to pick up my package, I wish there was a way to opt out of it. No matter where you go there

Horrible management, instead of fixing the issues in my apartment (which is their responsibility) they are trying to pin the problems on me by saying I cause the issues and that I need to fix it when I could not have done so. Instead of doing their job they are want me to take care of it... the board of health will have to solve it if no one else does !!

I lived here for just under two years and I enjoyed my time here. I was sharing a one bedroom with my partner at the time and unfortunately they decided to up and leave with little warning and I couldn't afford to stay alone. The grounds, amenities, and location are very nice and any maintenance request was handled promptly.

Minus one star because they do not recycle and I feel they should have been more strict with their no smoking policy. I complained about the person on the 2nd and 3rd floor above me multiple times but it seems like all they got were warnings, as they continued smoking

Great area, community is well maintained with a gym, pool, and laundry right on site. Right off of a main street, close to retail locations and groceries. I have lived there for over a year now, and besides some small hiccups, I love living here.

I have been living here since 2 weeks and i must say i am very happy and contented to have my apt in Royal Crest Apartment. The society is very big and has all facilities including a very big fitness centre. My favourite thing in this society is its greenery and the community garden where i can dig any plant, and the best part is i dont have to water them because the maintenance people of the society does that for its residents! I am so thankful to them! The maintenance staff here is so helpful and quick. I raised service request for something and it got solved in few hours only. Overall, i love

It's officially been one week of living in the Royal Crest apartments in Marlboro, and I must say, I'm more than pleased. Quiet, but large community. Love the pool - can't wait to enjoy it this summer! I can't get over the state-of-the-art equipment in the gym. Apartment is spacious, my kitty loves it. I'm obsessed with my kitchen - the brick accents are absolutely adorable. The complex is close to everything - 495, Rt 9, Rt 20, etc. Definitely recommend this place!

Look is deceiving, go only after doing proper research. I lived in this apartment for 3.5 years. When I moved in initial inspection was done, and I was told that normal wear and tear will not be charged at the time of move out.
During the moveout pre-inspection, same thing was mentioned to me that for normal wear and tear nothing will be charged. I myself told many items and got concurrence as - it's not an issue and will not be charged.
I recently moved out and received a surprisingly hefty bill. Amco.com/ Royal Crest Marlborough charges tenants unfairly and unethically. Ex - when I moved

In general it's a nice place to live, when you actually get the lease signed by Royal Crest(RC). I would put 4-5 starts if not one thing described below.

After working with RC Marlboro management we got our first lease. We signed it and asked RC Management to sign - and they didn't do that right away, that's their process. Later we were told by RC Management that they sign the lease any time before the day you actually move in. So, we planned the move, date, arranged movers, etc... Then in a day or two we got a call from RC Marlboro where they said "Current apartment owners

If I could give it no stars, I would. We put down a $500 deposit BEFORE we even got approved, because that's how they do things...and then got denied on our application. They told us that it would take about 4 business days TOP to get our money credited back to our card. It's now been 3 weeks and not a single person has returned any of our calls regarding our money. This place is a joke and we are considering taking them to small claims court. Beware this place is a scam!

They tell you rent is a certain number but then by the time they have added on on of their extra fees; parking

This was a much easier move in than I ever imagined it could be. What you get for the price is fantastic. One of the least expensive in the area and the landscaping outside is breathtaking. There is enough green space to play outside. It's a big "walking" neighborhood as I meet and pass many people every day. Also - the dog friendly atmosphere is truly prevalent throughout. This is how I have met most of my neighbors. The buildings and apartments are a bit old but are well kept and look good. The management staff has truly been a pleasure to work with and their friendliness

I am disappointed that my previous review got filtered. All I got to say is you will be charged a huge amount of money during your move-out from Royal Crest.
