My original appointment was rescheduled due to stylist being out. Tiffany contacted me the night before to see about rescheduling another day or with another stylist. I was open and understood that people get ill and cannot make it. I was ok with seeing another stylist to cut sons hair. Pigtails
& crewcuts are very good about sending email and text confirmations/reminders about your appointment, also including in those that if your 5 mins late chances are they won’t be able to get you in. My daughters haircut was ok. I asked for layers for her but there really wasn't much. I also got a haircut: reverse bob. I showed my hair stylist a picture, I showed her the length I wanted. She butchered my hair and cut it 3 in shorter then I wanted and did not know how to do a reverse bob. I wish she would have just said that, then I'd get a trim and they would get another star

This was my son’s first professional haircut, and I was nervous about how he would react. The atmosphere was awesome, and everyone was so friendly! My son loved the airplane seat, and our stylist did an amazing job! We will definitely be regulars here

We lived in Keller for many years and it was the first place where my kid had a hair cut! After many years we moved to dallas but I still drive all the way from Dallas to take my son there. Chelsy cut his hair perfectly. I’ve tried other places but they are really the best. Definitely recommend it!!!

The stylist was amazing! She was so kind, patient, and understanding all while giving a great haircut. The store is always clean. We love the car seats! I appreciate that they always have ways to entertain my son as well. This was not our first time and won’t be our last. We love P&C!

I appreciated the protections in place, the kindness and patience of the staff, and the environment created for the accommodation of children. It was our son's first haircut, and we really didn't think it was going to go well at all - he barely sits long enough to read a book at home. But as it turns out, he did much better than expected. Adrienne was so nice, flexible, and patient with him (and us!). It was an entirely pleasant experience, and we will definitely take him back for the next one!

I ABSOLUTELY love this place!!! They were very friendly with my little. The lovely stylist that did my little's hair was really sweet and gentle with him and did what I asked for his trim. I wish I can remember her name because she was absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back to this place for hair cuts!

Our almost two year old is a bit anxious about being touched, so we were nervous about getting her first haircut. The staff was very professional, and they were very patient and gentle with her. They have a great kid friendly set up and they were very sure to ask about the haircut we wanted.

The set-up is cute, but at $20 for a 1 year old's haircut (he doesn't have much hair), I'm expecting that what I'm paying for isn't just the firetruck seat and the animal crackers. I expect to get a good haircut, and for stylists to be good with kids. The first time we got what I'd expect: but I've been much less happy the next two times.

What a fun place for kids to get their hair cut. Instead of normal barber chairs, there are novelty chairs for kids like a police car and fire truck. There's an Xbox 360 at one Sharon if you happen to have a child who refused to door so except when playing video games. Even the capes have a little clear window so that you can look at your phone through the cape.
Ok, so it's also kind of sad what lengths some kids require in order to get them to cooperate, but this is a review of the business, not our culture :)

I absolutely love this place! This was our first time here and my experience was nothing but great. I have been to a different kids hair salon and ended up needing to find somewhere else because my experience there was terrible and traumatizing. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and signed in. Leslie took my 2 y/o son right away. He was NOT having it.... he was crying and hated it because of experience at a previous salon and Leslie was so kind and sweet reassuring me it's okay. Note- they do not take appointments so you will wait on average 30-40 minutes- even if you get there when they open. They are always understaffed and I feel sorry for Heather the only consistent stylist who holds it down without ever looking rushed or flustered!
The haircuts are just hit or miss. some stylists are great but you never know who you are going to get when you arrive since it's first come first serve and I rarely see the same person there twice.
I don't know how this place stays in business. Maybe the owner needs to pay their stylists more as there seems to be a need

Absolutely disappointed with our visit we recently had. We usually see Rae who we absolutely love, she always meets my expectations. She was not there when we went in recently. I went in and saw that I was the only one waiting put my name on the list and sat down. Another family came in 30 minutes after us and as soon as they came in they were sat down. I went up to the hair stylist and asked her why we had been skipped. She immediately apologized and sat my son down and began with his hair cut. Everything went well and she styled it once she was done and we went home. I went home and put my son

We had my daughter's birthday party at Pigtails & Crewcuts and could not be happier with how it turned out. They did such a great job - had the room all decorated so cute, did such a great job with the girls' hair, provided cupcakes, activities and party favors... and were just so nice!! Highly recommend!

So disappointed. I asked for my daughter to get an a line that was long in the front. At first it started off looking great and then Roberta completely ruined my daughter hair. It got to her cheeks!! When I clearly didn't ask for this!! I asked for it by her shoulder in the front and I got the complete opposite. Good thing my daughter is beautiful and pulls off any look and she was excited. But Roberta disappointed me and told me it wasn't her career of choice. We even told her we're cutting it to prepare for our trip to DISNEY WORLD. She messed up her hair. And I'm disappointed

Heart is torn on this review. 5 stars for the set up: plenty of staff, toys for the kids to play with while waiting, and cute cars for the kids to sit in for their haircuts. Plenty of candy and cartoons playing to keep them busy if they are nervous about their first time too. They also have this haircut and photo combo so you remember their first haircut. The reason for the 3 stars is for a kids haircut it's at lest $20. Check in with yelp and you get 2 dollars off but still pretty pricey. We also got home and realized the hair around his ears was trimmed crooked and patchy. Maybe it was

Loved our first experience going in for my toddler's haircut! Although my tot was a little hesitant at first, she was quickly put at ease. She was able to choose the car she wanted to sit in, and had a movie on to distract her. Heather was very understanding of my concerns with curly hair lying underneath with stick straight hair on top. She was able to expertly come up with a style that highlights those sweet curls and offered advice on how to work with curly hair. Will definitely be coming back!

I took my 2 year old son in for a haircut and was taken in immediately. Heather was extremely kind and patient with him. They had crackers to help keep him occupied and a movie for his entertainment. I was really happy that there was a taxi cab, fire truck and I think a police car for him to ride in. The seats were in excellent condition and very clean!

Last minute idea for a quick haircut for my kiddo. I myself desperately needed a trim and they had enough staff to take care of a child's and women's cut at the same time. Yay!
They did a great job with both of our do's so we will both be back. They even had a Friday family special so we paid $38 for both of us...score!!!
Very convenient when running errands in Northfield. Located between LaSandia and Claire's. It's really a cute little shop geared towards kiddos with awesome cars for the toddlers and video games and movies for the older kids.
